Our primary purpose is to increase public awareness of women’s achievements and their roles in history and to provide positive public images of women and girls. To fulfill these purposes, Wild West Women, Inc. will, with a particular emphasis on films concerning women’s issues, women’s history and women creators: produce educational films and accompanying educational materials; distribute educational films and videos to the general public; provide training in independent and educational film making, with special efforts to include women and girls of diverse cultures; and provide and sponsor other public educational film, video and arts activities. Founded in 1994.

The mission of CBN and its affiliated organizations is to prepare the nations of the world for the coming of Jesus Christ and the establishment of the Kingdom of God on earth. Our ultimate goal is to achieve a time in history when “the knowledge of the Lord will cover the earth as the waters cover the sea"

About Valley 103.1 Valley 103.1 FM, is a community-based volunteer 100-watt Low Power FM (LPFM) radio station providing programming content for Carnation, Duvall and parts of Redmond Ridge residing in the lower Snoqualmie valley. Valley 103.1 will provide a mix of music, talk, news, local culture, agricultural, educational, fine arts, and specialty programming to name a few. As a 501(c3) nonprofit organization, Valley 103.1 is managed by a board of directors and shows will be locally produced and created by local residents. Our Mission Statement Valley 103.1 Community Radio mission is to be an enjoyable and reliable source of entertainment, information, and community programming.

The Baron Jay Family Foundation is a 501(c)(3) federally tax exempt nonprofit organization that was legally incorporated in 2004. We are committed to promoting health awareness, relationship guidance, employment preparedness arts education, and financial literacy in economically distressed and underserved communities. We host workshops and programs for at-risk youth that prepare them to become responsible, civic-minded, respectful, and productive citizens. We also sponsor free training programs in computer skills training and English literacy to local communities in underdeveloped regions of the world such as West Central Africa. One of our main goals is to increase digital literacy through computer skill development in poverty stricken communities. All of our workshops are designed to give our beneficiaries practical life-skills that promote self-esteem, empathy, stress reduction, anger management, academic improvement, and civic leadership. As a nonprofit educational arts organization, AFI provides leadership in film and television and is dedicated to initiatives that engage the past, the present and the future of the moving image arts.

The Honolulu Museum of Art is dedicated to the collection, preservation, interpretation, and teaching of the visual arts, and the presentation of exhibitions, films and videos, performing arts, and public programs specifically relevant to Hawai'i's ethnically diverse community.

Ghetto Film School (GFS) is an award-winning nonprofit founded in 2000 to educate, develop and celebrate the next generation of great American storytellers. With locations in New York City, Los Angeles and London, GFS is the most elite and inclusive film academy in the world, equipping students for top universities and careers in the creative industries through two tracks: an introductory education program for high school students and early-career support for alumni and young professionals. GFS annually serves over 4,000 individuals, 14-30 years of age.

The Close Up Foundation brings citizens from throughout the nation and around the world to Washington, D.C., for a firsthand look at the federal government and the development of public policy. A nonprofit, nonpartisan civic education organization, Close Up connects individuals of all ages to their communities and institutions through challenging education programs and products. By building partnerships with the education community, the private and philanthropic sectors, and all branches and levels of government, Close Up makes civic participation a dynamic and meaningful experience. Since its founding in 1970, Close Up has remained focused on the values of citizenship and the importance of an educated electorate, aware that democracy is a constantly renewing experience that must be taught and shared with each new generation. It has continued a strong organizational determination to make the democratic process available to students from every background, and places special emphasis on outreach to disadvantaged young people, with fellowship programs for low-income students, minority students, migrant students, recent immigrants, American Indians, Alaska Natives, the hearing and visually impaired, and other students with special needs.

In addition, Democracy Now! hosts real debates–debates between people who substantially disagree, such as between the White House or the Pentagon spokespeople on the one hand, and grassroots activists on the other.
