The mission of The Global FoodBanking Network (GFN) is to alleviate world hunger.  We do this by collaborating to develop food banks in communities where they are needed around the world and by supporting food banks where they already exist.

We commit to improving the lives of Toronto youth by delivering the highest quality of volunteer-based mentoring programs.

YWCA Cambridge is a multi-service agency focusing its programs and services on women and their families in the following areas: Licensed child care, Summer day camp, Women's employment (Small Steps to Success), YWCA Week Without Violence (Power of Being a Girl Conference), Women of Distinction, Community Awareness and Education Programs(International Women's Day, Take Back the Night, December 6 Coalition, Women's Safety Audit Program), Girl's Programming (Body Image and Self-Esteem Workshops, Internet Safety), Social Action and advocacy on issues that impact women and girls.

We take these urban kids and bring them to our Lakeside wilderness location in Newmarket and offer them experiences that make them feel like part of a family. We help hundreds of kids develop practical skills, relevant knowledge and self-confidence. We concentrate on prevention rather than rehabilitation. In this way Trails builds trust and confidence and has a real influence on the direction of youths' lives.

Founded in 1985, Peel Children's Centre (PCC) is a fully accredited, not-for-profit community-based children's mental health agency that helps children, youth and their families who are struggling with serious emotional or behavioural difficulties. Each year, PCC provides approximately 6650 treatment services, free of charge, to children and youth who are struggling with depression, anxiety, bullying, physical or sexual abuse, self-harm and more. Our services include coordinated centralized intake, 24/7 crisis support, comprehensive clinical assessments, community-based outreach and court preparation. Individual and group counselling is offered at our offices, in the home, in the school and through our residential and day treatment programs. Please support us in our vision of a caring community working together for children and youth.

The Parkdale Food Centre is part of the Ottawa Food Bank’s distribution network. It serves the Hintonburg, Mechanicsville, Civic Hospital and Wellington West neighbourhoods. It is a not-for-profit, volunteer- run organization that provides emergency food aid to individuals and families in need. The Centre is funded in part by the City of Ottawa and local churches, with additional donations provided by individuals and local businesses. The Centre is currently experiencing a budget shortfall so is in the midst of a fundraising drive to support its 2014 programs. Our Mission At the Parkdale Food Centre, our mission is to provide healthy food, nutritional education and a warm and welcoming environment to our neighbors in need.

Based on the tradition of tikkun olam (healing the world), MAZON Canada raises awareness of poverty and hunger and links it with the mitzvah (obligation) of tzedakah (charity). Funds raised by MAZON Canada are distributed on a non-denominational basis and allocated twice a year giving much needed relief to carefully vetted organizations that provide basic food needs.

A donation to the Vancouver Aquarium ensures the continuation and growth of programs that will have a positive, tangible and long-term impact on our community and our aquatic world. Your commitment to the Vancouver Aquarium supports: -Education programs that teach marine science to children and youth; inspiring the next generation of environmental stewards; -Conservation initiatives that help people take action to save threatened or endangered aquatic environments; -The continuing evolution of our world-class exhibits - connecting visitors to the aquatic world and encouraging them to care about conservation; -Ground-breaking research aimed at addressing some of the aquatic world's most pressing problems.

Welcome Hall Mission provides meals, clothing, lodging, food assistance, counselling, dental and health services as well as rehabilitation and social reintegration for men, women, children and teens. We help the most disadvantaged find better opportunities in order to break the cycle of poverty.

Our programs help women transition towards self-sufficiency by addressing their social and economic needs in relation to work, home and community. Programs include: the Suiting Program which outfits women in professional attire for job interviews and employment; the Dress Rehearsal program where clients go through a mock interview and feedback session and can get assistance with resume/cover letter writing; and the Professional Women’s Group (PWG) which offers women ongoing support as they successfully transition into the workforce.

Canadian Women's Foundation is the only national public foundation dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls. The Foundation raises funds to support programs that focus on three areas fundamental to the wellbeing of women and girls: ending violence, establishing economically independent women, and building resilient girls.

The Oak Bay Kiwanis Pavilion Foundation (the Foundation) was established in 1989 as a means for stewarding donated funds in support of the residents living at the Kiwanis Pavilion. The Foundation provides financial support for special projects, programs and improvements to the Kiwanis Pavilion over time.
