Netsanet provides shelter, individualized medical care, nutrition, education and family-preservation support for special‑needs, abandoned, and orphaned children in southern Ethiopia. When possible it supports families to keep children at home; when not, it cares for children in a family‑style children’s village and runs community outreach programs.

Massachusetts Vest‑A‑Dog is an all‑volunteer 501(c)(3) that supports Massachusetts law‑enforcement K‑9 teams by funding and providing protective (bullet/stab‑resistant) vests, essential equipment, training, and occasionally assisting with the purchase of dogs. Their primary goal is to ensure Massachusetts police K‑9s have protective vests and related support.

The department is a local volunteer fire and emergency services organization that provides fire suppression, rescue and ambulance/EMS response to protect lives and property in the Mahopac community. It operates volunteer-run stations and public-safety programs for the town and surrounding area.

Talbot Humane has been helping animals in Talbot County, Maryland, since 1932. For over 80 years our goals have been: To rescue animals from neglect; To place companion animals into loving homes; To reunite lost pets with their owners; and To reduce pet overpopulation through aggressive spay and neuter programs.

Project PEARLS USA works to help the poorest children and families in the Philippines by providing basic needs and long-term supports — including nutrition/feeding programs, education and scholarships, health care and medical/dental missions, and skills/empowerment programs. The U.S. entity raises funds and coordinates support to advance those programs overseas.

Children Up provides post‑primary scholarships and mentoring for high‑performing primary students from northern Uganda so they can attend secondary school and continue into higher education. The organization pays for tuition, room & board, supplies and transportation and pairs students with mentors to support academic progress and school retention.
