Our mission is to provide food, shelter, clothing, education, and medical services to underprivileged and orphaned children, to provide assistance to victims of natural calamities, to support rural development and upliftment of poor sections by providing job related training and to provide food, clothing, and shelter to homeless people.

The Tim Horton Children's Foundation was established in 1974 by Ron Joyce, Co-Founder of the Tim Hortons chain, to honour Tim Horton's love for children and his desire to help those less fortunate. The Foundation is a non-profit, charitable organization committed to providing a fun-filled camp environment for children from economically disadvantaged homes. Year-round, local children are selected from each of the communities in which a Tim Hortons store operates, giving thousands of children the opportunity to attend one of our camps. This year the Foundation will serve over 14,000 children from economically disadvantaged homes. Together we are truly making a difference.

NuDay is an international nonprofit organization founded in the belief that no person deserves a life without dignity – and that any person can be the catalyst for change. That’s why we work to ensure that our aid is transformative for the long term. Note: NuDay Syria pleaded guilty to three counts of Failure to File Export Information for shipments to Syria in 2018-2021. Formerly NuDay Syria.

The Okotoks Food Bank has been serving families since 1985. We’re a volunteer run organization directed by a Board and one part-time Executive Director. We provide non-perishable food items, frozen meat and vegetables, as well as fresh produce, eggs, margarine and milk cards. We’re a registered charity under the Societies Act and provide tax receipts to donors. We are supported by nine ministerial churches. We receive support of food and monetary donations from Food Drives and donations from individuals and businesses.

The Leary Firefighters Foundation provides funding and resources for fire departments to acquire the best available equipment, technology, and training necessary for the health and safety of firefighters and in turn, the public they serve.

Our mission is to inspire and mobilize the community to support relentless innovation in research, teaching and care at the Montreal Children’s Hospital, an internationally-renowned pediatric centre affiliated with the McGill University Health Centre providing highly-specialized healthcare.

The programs and services Gillian’s Place provides helps abused women and their children with the opportunity to rebuild their lives. These programs include support counselling and safety planning, family law advice, safe shelter and transitional assistance. Abused women who may never stay at our shelter still benefit from the free and confidential services we offer.

Concern Worldwide was founded in 1968 in Ireland and directs its resources towards people who live in extreme or absolute poverty. The organization's dual priorities are response to emergencies in developing countries and long-term operations for the benefit of the needy in the poorest communities around the world. Concern bases it work on the principle that development is a process which occurs in people, proceeds at their pace, and is achieved, not given.
