The RAFT helps kids living on the street and those at risk of being on the street. For homeless and at risk street youth, the RAFT provides a Resource Drop In Centre, Hostel and Steps to Independent Living Program. Through its Neighbourhood Awakening Initiatives, and After School Programs, the RAFT helps young people and local groups make positive changes in their neighbourhoods. The Youth Reconnect Program supports at risk youth in their home communities and prevents them from having to leave the Region to obtain services.

1) Provide timely humanitarian relief in emergencies to help people whose lives have been threatened by conflicts and natural disasters. 2) Assist communities whose social foundations have been destroyed by providing rehabilitation and development cooperation for self-sustainability. 3) Pursue conflict prevention and resolution through our field activities. 4) Raise public awareness by disseminating information on assistance needs. 5) Put forward proposals for improving the effectiveness of relief-providing mechanisms in society.

AIDS Vancouver Island provides comprehensive, accessible and effective education, prevention, care, treatment and support services to residents of Vancouver Island and the Southern Gulf Islands. Our vision is of a world free of HIV and hepatitis C. Until that time, those most at risk in our community continue to be marginalized - not only by their disease, but also by stigma and discrimination, poverty, and despair. As we fight these diseases, we join with those we serve to provide services based on consideration and respect and to provide visibility and a voice in the community.

Eswatini (formerly Swaziland) has the highest rate of HIV infection in the world. A generation of children is being left without parents; a generation of grandparents are being left to raise them without resources. Young Heroes initiatives have supported over 15,000 orphans and vulnerable children. We empower Eswatini's most vulnerable youth and their caretakers so they may achieve their fullest potential through: life-support grants; vocational training; healthcare: HIV education, prevention, and care programs; educational support; and gender and economic empowerment programs.

Recovery Acres is a 34 bed treatment facility in Edmonton, Alberta helping adult men recovery from alcohol and drug addiction. We provide a safe, secure and supportive environment for those who wish to make the commitment and put in the work necessary to change their lives. Through life skills and addiction awareness modules, individual counselling and 12-step work, Recovery Acres helps men through the early stages of addiction recovery, building relapse prevention skills and the community supports necessary to eventually transition back into the community.

HIV Edmonton has been providing support, community education, advocacy and prevention within a harm reduction philosophy to Edmonton and area for over 25 years. We are a community based, not-for-profit organization that works to eliminate HIV and AIDS related stigma and discrimination. Working collaboratively we use evidence-based research to stay current with the latest HIV and AIDS information. We pride ourselves on the delivery of innovative programs and services that promote dignity, health and well-being of individuals living with, affected by and at risk of HIV.

Rescue:Freedom International is a non-profit 501(c)(3) that works to rescue victims of human trafficking, to provide holistic aftercare services, and to prevent the growing travesty of exploitation. Created to empower local efforts with international support and expertise, we support a growing network of service providers in eight countries who are familiar with and sensitive to the culture and community within which victims live. By mobilizing resources, knowledge, and funding, we work together to restore lives broken by sexual slavery through programs such as night shelters, safe houses, medical clinics, and vocational training.

CMHA Kelowna provides a wide range of services and supports to those who are experiencing mental illness and their families. One of our core objectives is to promote and create innovative programs and supports that contribute to the recovery, secondary prevention, empowerment and community integration of people with mental illness in our community. Our programs are centered around the notion of assisting individuals to build their skills necessary to manage their mental health and to learn about services and supports that are available to them. Family Services of Central Alberta is a non profit organization that provides preventative, supportive, and early intervention services throughout Central Alberta. Incorporated in 1971, our record for excellence and community service has been built on the delivery of accountable, innovative programs and services based on best practices. We have numerous community partnerships and offer services in over 16 communities in Central Alberta, serving a rapidly growing population of 260,000. We adhere to the accreditation standards of Family Service agencies of Canada, Healthy Families, Parent Link Centres and the Department of Justice.

The Victoria Faulkner Women’s Centre is a Whitehorse, Yukon based organization that has been offering programming and support to women throughout the Yukon for more than thirty years. The Women’s Advocate offers support and assists women in assessing their options and accessing information and services. The Centre organizes annual events such as International Women’s Day, Sexual Assault Prevention Month and Take Back the Night, and offers various programs such as the Moms and Kids Summer Recreation Program, Rural Pregnant Moms Suite, daily drop-in, the Community Kitchen, film nights, book club, and Girls Club.

We are a non-profit, grassroots and registered charitable organization that is 100 % volunteer operated. We are committed to improving living conditions in existing Transition Houses and to assisting women and/or children staying in these shelters. We do this by providing funds, goods and services on a project basis as the need arises. Funds are also used to increase awareness of domestic violence, for preventative work with young people, and for other support programs such as the Children Who Witness Abuse Program.
