To create, in a client's home or in a residential home-like setting, a place where people of the communities we serve, experience a living spirit of compassion, hope and healing. To create a community where the dignity, humanity and holistic well being of a person, is celebrated. A place where people may live to their fullest as they journey to life’s end.

We are a charitable non-profit organization devoted to assisting low-income individuals and families to find safe, affordable and adequate rental housing. Our qualified housing caseworkers assist tenants and landlords with their rights and responsibilities. All of our services are provided free of charge, including a registry for individuals, landlords and property managers who wish to advertise available, affordable rental housing in Ottawa.

In carrying out our mission, we pursue three goals: - to promote a respectful socio-economic vision of the rights and interests of consumers - to promote equitable legal and contractual rules and ensure they are implemented and respected - to reinforce the power of consumers and promote their autonomy by better informing them and representing them to decision makers. Our shared vision is for a healthy, sustainable, equitable, just and peaceful community where women’s knowledge and experience is valued and respected. Our vision includes women having hope and strength while living out equal social, economic and political rights. Our programs assist community women in the areas of housing, economic security, safety, community involvement, skill building and child minding.

Global Action International is a partnership of people whose mission is to make a difference in this world. We combine humanitarian and spiritual assistance by working with the poor and oppressed to promote human transformation, seek justice, and bear witness to the good news of the Kingdom of God. Global Action International partners with organizations and like minded people throughout the world.

The organization is operated exclusively for religious charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501 c 3 of the United States Internal Revenue Code or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code and for such related purposes as may be permitted to religious charitable and educational corporations which are organized under Florida Not For Profit Corporation Code. This includes for such purposes to provide financial material moral and spiritual support primarily to the members of the Compassionate Franciscan Sisters of the Poor Inc. CFSOP and to other missionaries in their ministries which exist to defend provide for and promote the dignity of the poor the unborn and all human life and the administering of homes and centers to provide essential basic human care evangelization education and Christian works of mercy to abandoned and neglected women children the elderly street children and orphans and the destitute poor.

We believe in women’s ability to achieve economic and personal milestones. YWCA Moncton provides women with the opportunity to gain skills and knowledge through: leadership and life skills development, employability services, and financial literacy training. We believe all women have the right to live in peace and without threat or acts of violence. YWCA Moncton addresses the issue of violence against women through violence prevention programs and national YWCA campaigns. We believe every woman should have access to safe and affordable housing. YWCA Moncton provides supportive housing programs for women who are homeless or precariously housed. We believe youth have a right to safe spaces to create change within themselves and their community. YWCA Moncton provides programs for youth that promote healthy peer relationships, positive self-regard, academic achievement, and positive school experience. YWCA Moncton provides resources and referrals for various women’s issues.

To help, mainly women of low incomes, to prepare economic and healthy meals so that they, and their families can eat all month long. To awake the consciousness of the participants, to favour the increase of autonomy and self-esteem. To work on the development of values such solidarity, equity and social justice, autonomy, human respect and democraty. To favor the community's participation for poverty's reduction.

Crisis Aid assists in sustaining life. We provide life-saving services and hope to the most vulnerable of populations, through customized responses that bring immediate relief. We address the human condition and fundamental needs to survive and then thrive. Working alongside community leaders, holistic building-blocks are established and true community transformation is made possible.

Mandate of the United Way: The United Way is an autonomous organization, which builds upon the strength of volunteers and voluntary action by engaging the whole community for the benefit of the whole community. Governed by a local Board of Directors along with other volunteers and staff, we help to build caring communities and respond to a broad range of human needs on a local scale.

We put our utmost efforts into restoring a self-supporting livelihood both economically and mentally to those people who have been stricken with hardship due to conflicts and disasters. We do so promptly, precisely, and flexibly by fully utilizing local human and material resources, considering this the most promising way to revitalize the society.
