All of our services are provided free of charge, including a registry for individuals, landlords and property managers who wish to advertise available, affordable rental housing in Ottawa.

This includes for such purposes to provide financial material moral and spiritual support primarily to the members of the Compassionate Franciscan Sisters of the Poor Inc. CFSOP and to other missionaries in their ministries which exist to defend provide for and promote the dignity of the poor the unborn and all human life and the administering of homes and centers to provide essential basic human care evangelization education and Christian works of mercy to abandoned and neglected women children the elderly street children and orphans and the destitute poor.
We believe in women’s ability to achieve economic and personal milestones. YWCA Moncton provides women with the opportunity to gain skills and knowledge through: leadership and life skills development, employability services, and financial literacy training. We believe all women have the right to live in peace and without threat or acts of violence. YWCA Moncton addresses the issue of violence against women through violence prevention programs and national YWCA campaigns. We believe every woman should have access to safe and affordable housing. YWCA Moncton provides supportive housing programs for women who are homeless or precariously housed. We believe youth have a right to safe spaces to create change within themselves and their community. YWCA Moncton provides programs for youth that promote healthy peer relationships, positive self-regard, academic achievement, and positive school experience. YWCA Moncton provides resources and referrals for various women’s issues.

Mandate of the United Way: The United Way is an autonomous organization, which builds upon the strength of volunteers and voluntary action by engaging the whole community for the benefit of the whole community. Governed by a local Board of Directors along with other volunteers and staff, we help to build caring communities and respond to a broad range of human needs on a local scale.
We put our utmost efforts into restoring a self-supporting livelihood both economically and mentally to those people who have been stricken with hardship due to conflicts and disasters. We do so promptly, precisely, and flexibly by fully utilizing local human and material resources, considering this the most promising way to revitalize the society.
