The Grande Prairie Women's Residency Association operates Odyssey House, a 40 bed emergency shelter for victims of abuse and control. For over 30 years Odyssey House has offered women and children a haven and solace in their time of need. We anticipate that construction on the Supportive Housing Project will begin in the Spring of 2014. This is the next step after the shelter, offering women and their children safe and affordable living on a long term basis. Additional programs and supportive measures will be in place to ensure a successful transition from abuse to healthy and happy members of our community.
