Regina Transition Women’s Society operates Regina Transition House. Services provided: Safe temporary housing in a safe facility. A holistic response including counselling support, information and education, options and alternatives, referral and advocacy. Around the clock service to residents and to the community via telephone. Children's programming focuses on risk assessment, information, parenting support and safety planning. Outreach programming focuses on assisting women to become independent and achieving a life without violence. It is available to all women departing shelter. Cultural programming is offered with regular sharing circles and visits from a local Elder. Public education and awareness on the issue of interpersonal violence is provided within the community.

The Elizabeth Fry Society of Simcoe County opened their doors in 1989 and is located in Barrie, ON. We are celebrating 25 years of providing programs and services throughout Simcoe County. Elizabeth Fry Society of Simcoe County is a non-profit, community based registered charity. We provide services to women and youth who are at risk of homelessness or homeless with our trusteeship program and our women's shelter. We provide services for youth, women, and men who are or at risk of being criminalized. The Elizabeth Fry Society of Simcoe County envisions healthy, hopeful, and empowered individuals, supported by a community that understands the challenges, stigmas, and systemic issues faced by those at risk.

Carty House was established ten years ago as transitional housing for immigrant women. Over the years, and now in its second location, the program has come to focus on women who are refugee claimants or government sponsored refugees. The House has eight bedrooms and comfortable common areas available for the women. They are expected to contribute both financially and in kind with shared responsibility for cooking and household chores. In return, they receive compassionate, purposeful service from staff and volunteers, including tutoring and help with accessing healthcare, employment programs and appropriate housing. There have also been powerful examples of reunification with children arriving from overseas after persistent effort on the part of Carty House.

We're a Detroit-based nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the homeless community. We hire homeless women from local shelters to become full time seamstresses. These women manufacture a coat that transforms into a sleeping bag, which is then given out to homeless individuals living on the streets at no cost to them. We believe in giving second chances to those who want it, and providing warmth to those who need it.

Sistering is a non-profit charitable organization which provides a safe and welcoming environment where women receive practical and emotional supports such as, a daily hot meal; showers and laundry facilities; clothing; access to health care professionals; informal counseling, support groups and other program activities; housing services; pre-employment programs, and referrals to appropriate agencies. These supports enable women to take greater control of their lives.

Since 1905, YW Kitchener-Waterloo has provided essential programs for women and children. Today, we offer early learning and care; emergency and supportive housing; counselling, advocacy, and referrals; and collaborative community leadership. We are a community-based charitable organization governed by a 15-member, volunteer Board of Directors. Inc. is a non-profit charitable organization that provides women and their children affected by domestic violence with secure and safe on-site housing, individual and group therapeutic counselling, support programs, advocacy, and connection with community resources. Our mandate is to address the needs of women who have already taken steps toward resolving the initial crisis involved in their decision to separate from their abusive partner.
