AGE Africa's mission is to create life-changing opportunities for young women in Malawi through targeted initiatives in education, mentoring, and leadership development.

Girls Garage is a nonprofit design and building program and dedicated workspace for girls and female-identifying youth ages 9-18. Girls Garage is the first design and building workshop for female youth in the United States. Through after-school and summer pathways, Girls Garage provides free and low-cost programs in carpentry, welding, architecture, engineering, and activist art to a diverse community of 200 girls per year. Integrating technical skills, college/career guidance, and community leadership, our programs equip girls the tools to build the world they want to see. In our workshop in Berkeley and under the guidance of our highly skilled all-female staff, we invite girls to bring their creative voice and put them to work on real-world building projects that live in our community.

Edu-GIRLS seeks to address the unique challenges to delivering education to girls created by social and gender bias in poverty affected households. In such households, with both parents trying to earn a living, girls are often held back from school to take care of the household or look after younger siblings or even to add to the meager family income through menial work. Edu-GIRLS approach customizes delivery methods to achieve success in such a setting, where few resources are devoted to the girl child. We do not stop at increased primary enrollment. We do not stop at achieving high rates of high school completion. We extend ourselves to ensure that girls have acquired skills for good jobs. We go all the way to financial independence.

Girls Inc. Limestone provides life-skills group education and mentoring programs for girls, and is at the heart of girls' lives and the forefront of the girls' rights movement. With programs that are grounded in research and tested in the field, our organization celebrates and empowers girls and young women, and advocates for an equitable world. The compelling voices and perspectives of girls and women are woven throughout our work. Our ongoing programs include: ~ School Group Program - serving 700 girls and young women annually ~ Summer Day Camp Program ~ serving 100 girls annually ~ After School Program - serving 50 girls annually ~ Skills Link Employment Readiness Program - Serving 50 young women annually ~ Money Smart Moms Program - serving 100 young women annually ~ Ongoing support and information exchange for all girls and young women in our community

RWANDA GIRLS INITIATIVE (RGI), ALONG WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY AND MINISTRY OF EDUCATION, HAS DESIGNED A MODEL OF GIRLS SECONDARY BOARDING SCHOOL IN AN UNDERSERVED SECTOR OF THE COUNTRY. THIS SCHOOL DELIVERS HIGH QUALITY EDUCATION TO GIRLS GIVING THEM A NUMBER OF OPPORTUNITIES UPON GRADUATION.

Girls Action Foundation is a national charitable organization. We deliver innovative youth programs and activate a national network of over 230 partnering organizations that empower girls and young women to create positive change in their communities. Our work impacts more than 60,000 girls and young women from coast to coast. We reach remote, marginalized and urban communities, including those in the North.

The mission of Girls Education International is to expand and support educational opportunities for underserved females in remote and developing regions of the world. We work with existing non-governmental and nonprofit organizations in the regions we serve. These local organizations already have relationships and infrastructures in the rural communities where we work that allow us to build upon and maximize existing resources.

Our mission is to empower and support neglected, marginalized, and at-risk girls and young women in Nepal, especially those who are at greatest risk to be forced into early marriage, sold into sex slavery, or abandoned as orphans. We provide scholarships, mentoring, career guidance, and subsistence for children who would not have the opportunity to attend school and pursue future careers in medicine, engineering, business, teaching, and other professions.

Girls Inc. provides research-based informal education programs delivered to girls 5 to 18 years by trained facilitators. The programs encourage girls to take risks, and master physical, intellectual and emotional challenges in a safe and supportive environment. Girls Inc. creates an environment where similarities and differences between girls are valued, respected and celebrated.

Strong Girls United Women empowers women and girls in Sierra Leone.We work to fulfill the simple idea that all women and girls are valuable. All should live a life of their choosing, free from pain, physical threat, and fear.
