Ashley Rising believes women and children made vulnerable by a life context of violence, abuse, oppression, inequality, drug and alcohol addiction, poverty and/or homelessness are at particular risk of not being able to reach personal goals. Our mission shall be to remove obstacles and create opportunities for women and children to be able to achieve their goals. Our vision is a world in which each woman and child is able to achieve her personal, familial, social, and professional aspirations free from the constraints of such limiting factors as poverty, substance use, physical violence, emotional abuse, poverty, inequality, and oppression. Our purpose shall be to partner with or provide funding to enhance or expand women-centered agencies and organizations, especially where such services are largely limited or unavailable, to help these women and their children become self-sufficient, contributing members of their communities. We will engage with local, national, and international organizations who support our mission and are already integral and viable parts of their local communities and/or establish organizations to provide services which may include, but are not limited to, comprehensive physical health, mental health, and social services; education, job-training skills, and employment; and research.

Bahari Sisters inc. works to empower Kenyan women and children. Bahari supports micro-businesses, provides scholarships and is raising funds to place a Habihut water filtration kiosk in a Kenyan community which lacks sanitation.

We empower women and children living in rural communities to overcome social injustice, disease, illiteracy, and poverty. Our small-scale interventions enhance their social and economic well being and help them reach their potential.

WHH believes that all women and babies should have access to healthcare. We are committed to providing that care both locally and internationally. We partner with medical organizations around the world to provide compassionate medical and surgical care in a way that is respectful to the cultural beliefs of the women. We bring together teams of physicians, nurses, physical therapists and other healthcare workers to bring relief to women and children suffering from the lack of health care that most of us take for granted. We accomplish our mission by partnering with local medical providers and organizations who demonstrate a long-term interest in the health of the local community. Although we donate our skills without monetary compensation, what we receive in return is priceless. Caring for individuals who would otherwise receive no medical attention is both gratifying and humbling.

In Haiti women and children spend 1/4 of their lives carrying water, yet consume only 3 liters per day. (the US=500 lpd). We turn rainwater into life by dramatically improving health and hygiene .

Days for Girls is turning periods into pathways: We increase access to menstrual care and education by developing global partnerships, cultivating Social Entrepreneurs, mobilizing volunteers and innovating sustainable solutions that shatter stigma and limitations for women and girls.

CFI's mission is to improve the lives of vulnerable, marginalized and at-risk children in Battambang province by providing access to quality education; promoting child rights; ensuring physical safety, health and wellness; inspiring children and young adults to act as positive role models within their communities; fostering self-reliance among families and communities while sharing joy together.

We believe that some things in life should never change...like healthy rivers and lakes, peaceful natural areas, forest walks and safe havens for birds, fish and wildlife. Since 1970, the Conservation Foundation has protected these places of natural beauty, environmental value and spiritual replenishment right here at home in the Rideau Valley of Eastern Ontario.

At Pacific Environment, we believe that communities must determine their destinies and that people have a right to meaningfully participate in decisions that affect their lives, their livelihoods and the natural environment. To pragmatically facilitate the provision of quality health, quality education for children, skill acquisition and training for Women and Young Girls, complemented with life-enhancing infrastructures and social amenities towards improved lifestyles for the Less Privileged in sub-urban and Rural Communities.

Our mission is to provide immediate crisis response, as well as long term relief, for vulnerable groups such as women and children in a dignified, respectful and empowering way. Our ambition is to find a response that simultaneously improves the conditions for both refugees and local actors.

IPI serves the poor, orphaned, victims of violence and those suffering with HIV/AIDS in Kenya. IPI owns and operates a children's home for displaced children and orphans, provides enterprise training opportunities to women, and conducts peace trainings in the local Meru community.
