Soroptimist International of Marysville is celebrating 30 years of service to our community. We are part of Soroptimist International, with over 95,000 members in 120 countries around the globe. Our focus is on service: we are committed to improving the lives of women and children in our community, our country, and around the world. at our local club level, we organize fundraisers to support various service projects chosen by the members. We do several hands-on projects and also donate money to projects that share our vision. We recognize exceptional women and girls with awards and monetary grants to help them continue their work.

In response to the near-complete devastation of the Yezidi people by ISIS in 2014, Free Yezidi Foundation has been providing spaces for Yezidi refugees — mostly women and children — to get psychological care and develop skills needed to re-enter society. To kick off 2019, a $100k match grant was offered by Semnani Family Foundation (together with 5th Element Group and Solver). Thanks to people like you, we unlocked 100% of the match grant by March 31, 2019! This spring, we're working to continue the momentum by raising additional support for these women and girls who have been left so vulnerable. Please join with us!

Our teams work side-by-side with local doctors and clinics to improve access to high-quality eyecare. Founded in 2002, She Is Safe prevents, rescues and restores girls and women from abuse and slavery in high risk communities around the world, equipping them to build whole new lives. Our goal is to make every high-risk girl safe, free and equipped.

The mission of the Share and Care Foundation™ is to create opportunities for deserving, economically challenged women and children of India by partnering with communities, philanthropists and local charitable organizations. Invisible Girl Project's mission is to END GENDERCIDE (the systematic killing of females) in India. Invisible Girl Project raises global awareness concerning the loss of female lives in India, pursues justice for lives lost, empowers women, and assists Indian partners in the rescue of and care for vulnerable Indian girls.

KITO ONLUS is a nonprofit organization with exclusively purposed of social solidarity, most in the field of education and primary school in developing countries or emergency. KITO ONLUS considers school as the best tool to get children back to ordinary life and help them overcome traumas a conflict or natural disaster might provoke in each of them. Therefore, it recognizes the importance of the right to education, especially in emergency contexts. The organization is aimed to pursue the following goals: Financing, development and building of basic structures in developing countries or in countries affected by famines, natural disasters and armed conflicts; Assistance to people victims of wars, famines, natural disasters, violence and violation of human rights; Designing of basic structures for scholastic employment; Relization of expandable, aggregatable and transportable schoolhouses (or health centers); Developing of participatory processes with the beneficiaries in the structures installation; Increasing wealth of students, teachers and scholastic staff, through policies aimed to improve their living conditions, namely health, nutrition, social services and security of children.

Ecosource is all about changing the world, right in our own backyard! We are leaders in grassroots environmental education in Peel Region and across Ontario. Our staff team works in schools and throughout the community, delivering interactive learning experiences that inspire youth and adults to take responsible personal environmental actions that make a huge difference to the health of the planet. We are proud to work with over 40 000 youth and adult community members annually!
