Since our establishment in 1984, SIBAT envisions a just and sovereign society that upholds genuine development through people-based science & technology. SIBAT commits to develop, promote and popularize the application of appropriate technologies towards attaining village-level sustainable development in poor communities. As such, SIBAT have gained significant breakthroughs in sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, genetic conservation and water systems development. By the end of 2022, SIBAT's goals are: 1. Self-reliant and resilient communities that have adopted appropriate technologies and can adapt to the effects of climate change. 2. Institutionalized structures and mechanisms that support the appropriate technology (AT) efforts of SIBAT and partner poor communities. SIBAT helps enhance the poor people's opportunities to enjoy, and capabilities to assert and demand for, their basic rights. SIBAT assures everyone in the community equal opportunities from and access to appropriate technology, resources and benefits with particular attention given to the poor farmers, women and indigenous peoples. Peoples' participation and ownership in development. SIBAT upholds the people's right to determine, participate in, and have control over their own appropriate technology development. Holistic. SIBAT addresses community problems, through appropriate technology interventions, that are determined from a comprehensive and integrated perspective. Technological innovation and competence. SIBAT enhances the practice of innovation, development of knowledge and mastery of skills. SIBAT upholds quality standards in the application of science and technology for the people. Care for health and environment. SIBAT works for the conservation and management of the environment and gives due attention to the promotion of good health and well-being of the people. Gender consciousness. SIBAT integrates and promotes gender equality in its programs and projects, and in each individual's work, actions and language.

Sonna Etienne Foundation’s mission is to foster, develop and nurture Sonna Etienne’s social vision and development priorities throughout his lifetime. We do this by helping underserved communities move towards economic welfare, building stronger education systems that will provide education or life skills to everyone, supporting access to quality education as a recognition of youth’s enormous potential and the right to a better future and providing them with the skills they need to recover, chart their own path to self-reliance and become first accountable to their growth and development in a globalized context.

SDWF is a registered charitable organization. To reaffirm and promote all people's right to safe drinking water. With a focus on developing partnerships with rural communities throughout Canada and around the world, we intend to effect change at the municipal, provincial, and federal levels as well as within civil society and industries involved in the protection and production of public water supplies. ASTRA is a local grass-root non-governmental organization dedicated to the eradication of all forms of trafficking in human beings, especially in women and children, as well as an efficient search for missing children and protection of children after they have been found, applying a comprehensive approach, with the aim of eliminating this specific form of violence by promoting a society free of all forms of exploitation, violence, discrimination and economic and social inequalities.

Give To Colombia is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in the U.S. that mobilizes resources, talents, and technologies to benefit the most vulnerables communities, which include disabled, displaced, and demobilized populations, as well as women and children. FFLV USA is a US charity dedicated to raising awareness, funds and coordinating support for Food For Life Vrindavan (FFLV). Sierra Club of Canada Foundation is a national charitable foundation that provides financial support for charitable work to the Sierra Club of Canada. Established in 1972, Sierra Club of Canada Foundation funds a wide range of environmental projects, from scientific research to environmental education. These funds are largely provided by individual donors and foundations who recognize that we all have a right to a safe and healthy environment with clean air, clean water, open space, wild lands and a healthy and diverse ecosystem. While the Foundation is autonomous and governed by its own Board of Directors, it works closely with the Sierra Club of Canada in pursuing its program goals.

Surge for Water is a women-led nonprofit organization working hand-in-hand with communities to provide safe water, sanitation, hygiene and menstrual health solutions to rural, remote communities in Haiti, Philippines, Indonesia, and Uganda. Surge’s solutions include wells, rainwater harvesters, filters, toilets and education on hygiene and menstrual health. By providing access to these basic needs, Surge helps communities achieve improvements in education, health, income and overall well-being.

"Teachers for Tomorrow is a nonprofit organization created to nurture and empower at-risk adolescents in rural Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, and Myanmar. As a public 501c3 charity with a legal base in Washington State and operations in Southeast Asia, we assist vulnerable teens and their families in the region with life skills training, educational scholarships, micro-enterprise opportunities, mental health support, career mentoring, and family support programs, with a special focus on meeting the unique needs of young women."
