SJICC USA raises funds in North America in support of charities in India with an excellent record of governance, transparency and impact. These charities provide much needed care for sick needy children. SJICC USA can provide a tax-effective way for residents and taxpayers of the USA to make donations to fund grant applications submitted by charities in India that meet our goals. Our current focus is to fund St. Jude India ChildCare Centers in Mumbai, but we have the flexibility to support allied charities in India that have adopted a model similar to that of St. Judes (www.stjudechild.org).

Village Health Works delivers quality, compassionate health care in rural Burundi while addressing the root causes of poverty and disease. Our mission is grounded in dignity and driven by the belief that lasting health comes from more than medicine. Education is central to this vision. We support a thriving primary school and operate Kigutu International Academy, a world-class boarding secondary school that prepares talented young people to lead change in Burundi and beyond. Alongside health and education, we strengthen food security, create livelihoods, and support the arts. These investments build healthier communities and nurture peace in a country still recovering from civil war. With over 90 percent of our staff from Burundi, Village Health Works is powered by local leadership. Our doctors, teachers, and community partners are caring for patients today while training the next generation to build a stronger future. Village Health Works is not only a health and education system, it is a movement of resilience and hope that shows what is possible when compassion and community come together.

The Lands Council works to protect and restore the Inland Northwest’s forests, rivers, and wildlife by combining advocacy, community education, on-the-ground restoration (riparian and watershed work), and urban-forest programs that expand canopy in underserved neighborhoods. Their work focuses on policy advocacy, restoration projects, and community engagement to improve ecosystem and community resilience.

Anera, which has no political or religious affiliation, works on the ground with partners in the West Bank, Gaza, and Lebanon. We mobilize resources for immediate emergency relief and for sustainable, long-term health, education, and economic development. Our staff serve in their communities, navigating the politics that constrict progress to get help where it’s needed most.

Mission: We are committed to a culture of responsibility and dignity and to leading our local community in the fight against hunger by efficiently providing access to food and nutritious meals. Feeding San Diego builds local and national partnerships with purpose. Founded in 2007 by the wildfires in San Diego, Feeding San Diego is now the leading hunger-relief organization in the county, distributing healthy food with dignity to San Diego residents struggling with hunger. Our non-profit organization, funded by philanthropic and community support, is devoted to feeding the hungry, advocacy and education. FSD is committed to solving hunger in our communities and informing the public on the issues of food insecurity, nutrition and poverty. We fight hunger locally by working hand-in-hand with partner agencies, local school districts, corporate partners and a network of volunteers to serve 63,000 children, families and seniors in need each week. This past year, we provided over 25 million meals to San Diegans struggling with food insecurity - an 18 percent increase from the previous year, which indicates that more families in need are seeking our services than ever before. Each year, Feeding San Diego is working to move more food into the community in order to close the meal gap. Feeding San Diego takes a holistic approach to solving hunger and food-related issues in our community. We fight hunger locally by working hand-in-hand with 150 agency partners (food pantries, soup kitchens, healthcare centers and other community resources) and through direct service programs in areas central to clients' lives (School Pantries, Mobile Pantry sites, senior centers, USO sites) to provide healthy food with dignity to 63,000 children, families and seniors in need each week. Our unique distribution model, which leverages both national and local partnerships, ensures that we are not simply banking food - we are Feeding San Diego. In addition to our food-service programs, Feeding San Diego acts as an advocate at the local and state level to protect government hunger-relief services like CalFresh. CalFresh is an assistance program crucial to helping low-income, food-insecure families stretch their grocery budgets, freeing limited resources for use on other household essentials. Feeding San Diego holds numerous outreach events designed to help clients determine their CalFresh eligibility and apply to the program.

USA for UNHCR is an independent nonprofit organization that provides support for the humanitarian work of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) through fundraising and education. The organization supports refugee protection and relief programs around the world, meeting needs by providing resources to the world's most vulnerable people. USA for UNHCR also informs Americans about the plight of refugees and the lifesaving work of the UN Refugee Agency.

NetHope's mission has a clear focus: to be a catalyst for collaboration among international humanitarian organizations. By working together to solve problems and share knowledge, we help ensure that our members have access to the best information and communication technology and practices when serving people in the developing world. We do this by working across our membership as a highly collaborative team, solving common technology problems, fostering strong relationships with private industry, and educating our members and the wider community of humanitarian organizations worldwide.

Project C.U.R.E. was founded in 1987 to help bridge staggering health resource gaps in the developing world by matching medical supplies and modern equipment with facilities in need to empower doctors and nurses with the tools they need to treat disease, deliver vaccines, perform life-changing surgeries and ensure safe childbirth. Project C.U.R.E. operates distribution centers in Colorado, Tennessee, Texas and Arizona and receives donations of supplies and specialized equipment from hundreds of U.S. hospitals and medical manufacturers. Thanks to the dedication of thousands of volunteers nationwide, two to three cargo containers of life-saving aid leave Project C.U.R.E.’s warehouses every week. In addition, Project C.U.R.E. sends volunteer medical teams to underserved facilities abroad to provide free care and train local healthcare staff. Today, Project C.U.R.E. is the world’s largest distributor of medical donations to resource-limited communities across the globe, touching the lives of patients, families and children in 130 countries.

The Humane Society Of Rochester And Monroe County for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Inc. was founded in 1873. Since the 1950's the Society has been known as Lollypop Farm, its name coming from the then popular Shirley Temple song - On the Good Ship Lollipop. Our mission is to build lifelong bonds between people and animals through education, community outreach programs, and the prevention of cruelty.  We envision a time when our community celebrates the human-animal bond; embraces the mutual benefits therein; and treats all fellow beings with care, compassion and respect.

Sewa International is a Hindu faith-based, humanitarian, nonprofit service organization registered under Internal Revenue Code 501 (c) (3). Founded in 2003, Sewa International is part of a larger movement that started in India in 1989 and has currently spread to 20 countries. Sewa serves humanity irrespective of race, color, religion, gender or nationality. We specialize in disaster relief and rehabilitation. Our development programs focus on family services; child, tribal and refugee welfare; women empowerment; health; and education. In addition to the US, we conduct development projects in Columbia, Guyana, India, Kenya, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Sewa’s volunteers are energetic, inspiring, selfless, and committed.

Mission: ICNA Relief USA seeks to alleviate human suffering by providing caring and compassionate service to victims of adversities and survivors of disasters. ICNA Relief USA strives to build healthy communities, strengthen families and create opportunities for those in despair while maintaining dignity and advocating for basic human needs. Goals: Assist and empower under-privileged Americans through sustainable social service programs. Strengthen the family system through education and value based family services. Foster effective partnership and coordination with Islamic Centers, faith based organizations, civic and governmental agencies. Develop effective disaster response and recovery programs.
