The Burlington Art Centre has thrived as a vital focal point for the visual arts since 1978. It is the seventh largest public art gallery in Ontario and attracts over 100,000 visitors from Burlington, the Bay Area, Toronto, and across Ontario and the U.S.A. The exhibition and educational programs, studios and activities are essential to our community and region. The Centre is a non-profit registered charitable organization which provides free admission, seven days a week, with full accessibility for the physically challenged. Equally important, the Centre encourages and supports the work of amateur and professional visual artists and an advocate for the community as a whole.

Core Programs - Chinese Learning Academy Offers accredited, basic training (ECS to grade 12) in mastering the skills in Mandarin Chinese language. - Chinese Library Has had about five thousand members since its inception in 1992 and contains seventy thousand items of books and videos. - Educational.Cultural.Recreational Courses A home to a number of educational, artistic, cultural and recreational programs as well as summer camps. - Chinese Artifacts Museum The Museum displays a diverse collection of objects reflecting the history and culture that goes back more than five thousand years and offers guided tours of the Centre, the Museum and Chinatown as well as customized cultural programs. - Facilities Rental Open for public renting, the facilities features a 6,000 sq.ft. multi- purpose auditorium with performing stage, a unique cultural hall, Wi-Fi connections, meeting space in various formats.

Chatham Christian School

Chatham Christian School provides students in JK through Grade 12 with quality, Christian education. We offer a comprehensive program of studies that meets the Ministry of Education expectations using curriculum that is uniquely filtered through a Christian worldview. Students receive individual attention and encouragement from Christian teachers who re-affirm what is taught in church and in the home. CCS is a non-denomination Christian school with students from over 30 churches enrolled. As an independent school, CCS receives no government funding and must rely on tuition and donations to meet the annual budget. A Tuition Assistance Fund has been established to give financial aid to families who desire to have their children educated in a Christian school but cannot afford the tuition fees.

Museum at Campbell River

The modern, international class Museum at Campbell River offers vibrant exhibits unfolding the rich heritage of First Nations cultures and development of coastal lifestyles, especially in relation to logging, fishing and the unique experience of floathouse life. The nationally important collection holds ethnographic, historic, archaeological and archival material of the northern Vancouver Island area; the Museum also has year-round programs, a Museum Shop specializing in original First Nations art and "history outdoors" including west coast native plant gardens and large artifacts.
