Who We Are The Foundation for Women's Health, Research and Development - FORWARD - is an African Diaspora women's campaign and support charity (registered in the UK). We exist to advance sexual and reproductive health and rights as central to the wellbeing of African women and girls. We work with individuals, communities and organisations to transform harmful practices and improve the quality of life of vulnerable girls and women. FORWARD was established in 1983 in the UK, in response to the emerging problems caused by female genital mutilation being seen by health professionals. Since this time FORWARD has been working to eliminate the practice and provide support to women affected by FGM. At our twenty year review FORWARD formally incorporated into its mandate other issues allied to Female Genital Mutilation, in particular vesico-vagina and recto-vagina fistulae and child and forced marriage. Redress is an NGO with a mission to promote environmental sustainability in the fashion industry by reducing textile waste, pollution, water and energy consumption. We work along the fashion supply chain to achieve this and our work is grouped into our four key programmes; The EcoChic Design Award, The R Cert, Consumer Campaigns and Industry Engagement. Collectively, our four key programmes cover a sustainable fashion design competition, a recycled textile clothing standard, workshops, clothing campaigns, fashion shows, exhibitions, seminars and research. Our unique profile allows us to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders. We work with multiple fashion designers, textile and garment manufacturers, retailers, schools and universities, multilateral organisations, governments, NGOs, financial institutions and media organisations.

To provide appropriate support to responsible and sustainable projects working in community development, wildlife rescue, and environmental conservation. To raise awareness of the plight of the communities with whom we work and create lifelong ambassadors for the projects with which we work.

Rewilding in action - restoring habitats and species, connecting people with wildlife and wild places

MAITS is an international disability charity whose mission is to improve the lives of some of the world's poorest people with developmental disabilities and the lives of their families, through better access to and quality of health and education services and support. We provide education, training and support for those working with and caring for persons with developmental disabilities such as cerebral palsy, autism and global learning disabilities to ensure they are able to achieve their full potential in a way that is sustainable and inclusive. We support people with disabilities in the following ways: The training of healthcare and education professionals, community workers, families and carers- to better understand their conditions and build their skills and knowledge to ensure persons with disabilities have better access to and improved quality of services. The development of training materials and resources on disability- the training materials are tested out and adapted to the local context, and when needed, translated into the local language, to ensure high quality care for those with disabilities. Linking organisations that need training with those who are able to provide it- through our website and through our database of 208 volunteer therapists and educators. In addition to facilitating face-to-face training, MAITS has an ongoing programme of resource development, designing tools that assist in the support and inclusion of individuals with particular needs, whether it be at home, school, in healthcare provisions or elsewhere in the community, in low-resource settings. We have a small team of specialists who create resources and we connect those looking for training with those who can provide it. Our mission is to improve the lives of some of the world's poorest people with developmental disabilities and the lives of their families, through better access to and quality of health and education services and support.

The Cowrie Scholarship Foundation has a vision to transform the lives of over 100 talented socioeconomically disadvantaged Black British students through access to UK universities creating new futures through education. The Foundation will partner with UK Universities, who will cover the tuition fees and the Foundation maintenance costs and provide a robust mentorship programme

To provide a safe space for parents of children within the school to gather and develop friendships with like minded people. The PTA aims to support the school with school trips, fund raising events and providing equipment and resources where possible.

Giving 9-24 year olds the skills, opportunities and connections needed to overcome barriers and excel in education and careers

CRIBS International is an experienced, longstanding and reputable NGO working in Athens, Greece. We focus on provision of the following: Refugee women and infant's housing project, Casework, psychologist, legal, medical and employment support, Community development work and a Free Shop for women and children ensuring distribution with dignity. At CRIBS International, our mission is to house and support refugee women who are in their final trimester of pregnancy or who have a new-born baby and have arrived in Greece, having fled conflict and exploitation. We provide this emergency support for the first 12 months of a baby's life to allow them to be born into a nurturing environment. CRIBS offers a lifeline to the women we support, many of whom are travelling alone and some being survivors of rape and sexual exploitation. When they reach Athens, despite being pregnant, the women receive no support from the authorities and are left to manage in any way they can as the state does not deem them vulnerable. Many become street homeless and prey to further abuse, or are forced into unsafe, closed camps with inadequate food, where violence is endemic and where health care facilities are almost non-existent. In the words of one of the women we support, 'When you arrive in Greece, it's difficult to restart your life with nothing'. By providing shelter, safety and support, we prevent homelessness and protect lives. More than this, we also work to empower women to begin to recover from trauma, to get back on their feet and to rebuild their life. Our goal is to provide the support needed to enable them to integrate into society, live independently and become part of the community to which circumstances have brought them.
