Change takes root when it’s locally driven - and that’s why Ecosystem Restoration Communities are born, led, and sustained by the people who live there. Grounded in trust and community knowledge, they grow lasting solutions that ripple outward, educating, inspiring, and creating regional impact far beyond what traditional top-down conservation can achieve. When you support us, you help communities as they restore their land and livelihoods and foster a deep connection to nature - bringing hope, resilience, and global impact. Our mission is to: a) contribute to a fully functioning, peaceful, abundant and biologically diverse Earth through co-operative efforts for the ecological restoration of degraded lands; b) stimulate and support community based initiative, leadership, and capacity to implement activities and undertake interventions that result in restored ecological function, climate resilience, biodiversity enrichment, and restored water cycles while at the same time enhancing livelihoods and human well-being; c) disseminate knowledge, innovations and insights emanating from these community-based initiatives to policy makers, academia, practitioners and the general public; and d) train large numbers of people to restore the fundamental ecological integrity of earth, and to connect knowledge and expertise about these activities worldwide.

Preserve the environment, limit climate change and its consequences, reduce energy insecurity and improve people's living conditions

Crossing Borders (CB) is a non-profit, non-partisan civil society organisation. The vision of CB is a world in peace with itself in which diversity is celebrated. The mission is to create dialogue space toward such a world and to build the capacity of youth, media workers and educators to realise the above vision. The overall goal is to enable people with different backgrounds to learn to live together on equal terms. Crossing Borders started as a project in 1999 in Denmark in support of meaningful dialogue between the conflict parties in the Middle East. In response to increased activities and demands for the CB concept and services, it was transformed, in 2004, into a dynamic organization with activities in Denmark and abroad.

Our Vision: Empowering Young Minds for Lifelong Impact We are a collective of volunteer engineers from diverse technical backgrounds, united by a shared belief: The most powerful way to help someone is to support their ability to grow, think, and build for themselves. Our non-profit initiative is rooted in human development, with a strong focus on education - because we know that real, long-term change starts with young people and their mindset. We work hand-in-hand with under-resourced schools to enhance the quality of education, especially for students aged 12 to 16 - a critical stage when identity, motivation, and future orientation are taking shape. Mindset & MentorshipThrough workshops and mentoring, we support students in building confidence, self-awareness, and a proactive attitude toward their future. We don't aim to substitute traditional education - we complement and uplift it by equipping both students and educators with the tools to thrive. Why Now? To achieve this goal, the Mafaz Development Foundation has made public education its top priority by focusing its efforts on improving the quality of teaching and modernizing educational spaces for Moroccan students. The Mafaz Development Foundation operates throughout Morocco, with a particular focus on rural and underserved areas where educational and social needs are most pressing. Our projects are implemented directly on the ground by multidisciplinary teams of volunteer engineers and professionals, ensuring a practical and community-centered approach. We work closely with local stakeholders-schools, associations, and public institutions-to co-design and deliver impactful, sustainable solutions. Whether through modernizing school infrastructure, promoting ecological awareness, or fostering digital literacy, our operations are guided by our core values of independence, professionalism, and transparency.

Sisterhood Agenda is an award-winning, tax-exempt nonprofit organization that creates and implements activities for women and girls around the globe for education, support and empowerment. Sisterhood Agenda promotes positive social change and has over 6,000 global partners in 36 countries. Global partners create an extensive sisterhood network to increase local organization capacity and unite women and girls. Sisterhood Agenda's SEA (Sisterhood Empowerment Academy), based in the U.S. Virgin Islands, attracts international participants. On global and local levels, Sisterhood Agenda addresses social, health, economic and cultural issues facing women and girls to promote positive life outcomes. Sisterhood Agenda's social impact is expanded through partnerships with agencies, individuals and businesses throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, India, the Caribbean, United Kingdom, Africa, Australia, and other geographic regions. Our mission is to aid and support children suffering from poverty, sickness, lack of education or who have experienced physical or moral violence, by offering them the opportunity and the hope of a new life. It is an independent, lay organisation and is also designated an ONLUS (Non-profit organisation of social value). It operates without discrimination of culture, ethnicity and religion and upholds the United Nations rights of the child. The Foundation works around the world and is closest to the weakest and most neglected children offering them food, medicine, health care, education and programmes for social reintegration. In pursuing its goal, Mission Bambini is inspired by the following values: freedom, justice, truth, respect for others and solidarity.

A Government-recognised Public Service Foundation and committed operator in child protection and prevention services, Apprentis d'Auteuil develops, in France and abroad, programmes for foster care, education, training and integration to give back to young people and vulnerable families what they lack most: trust.

Inspiring Girls International is a global campaign dedicated to raising the aspirations of young girls by connecting them with inspiring female role models.

We empower children in vulnerable communities by fostering education. To accomplish this, we build long-lasting partnerships with local institutions and organisations, and provide them with books, educational materials, and support.

Taghyeer Organization/ We Love Reading Program is an innovative model that provides a practical, cost efficient, sustainable, grassroots approach empowering communities from low and mid income communities around the world to create changemakers through reading. WLR supports the activism of local volunteers to increase reading levels among children 2-10 by focusing on the readaloud experience to instill the love of reading for pleasure among children to become lifelong learners. We aim to create system change. We create changemakers by recruiting and training adults and youth from local communities to provide read-aloud sessions for local children in safe, public spaces. Each year, WLR volunteers read to tens of thousands of children in public parks, community centers, mosques and other faith-based settings, nurseries, refugee camps, and other locales. We serve diverse populations and communities irrespective of gender, religion, social status, disability, literacy level, educational experience, etc. The training is either implemented in face-to-face settings or via our online platform to allow reaching wider audience of people wanting to volunteer and become reading ambassadors.

Educateurs sans Frontieres (EsF), a division of the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI), is a network of Montessori practitioners, working with communities, governments and other partners to advance human development from the prenatal stage to early childhood care and education, continuing through to elementary, adolescence, adulthood and the elderly.

The main objective of the ASOCIACIÓN MENSAJEROS DE LA PAZ is the care, attention, support, rehabilitation, treatment for human and social promotion of the most disadvantaged and needy groups in Spain and in several countries all over the world in order to promote their full integration: minors, young people living under social risk conditions, abused women, physical and psychical handicapped people, drug addicts, and old people who live alone, in abandon or poverty conditions.
