To promote the dignity and respect of women and girls, protecting them and their children from the social and personal repercussions of irresponsible parenthood and the degrading influences of slum life. Years of work in the lower-income areas of Venezuela prompted us, 35 years ago, to create 'Alive to the World', an original values-based curriculum, specially prepared by a team of international experts, designed for classroom use. Alive to the World uses positive psychology for each and every developmental stage of growth from preschool to adulthood, educating in understanding the importance of values and integrity, appealing to the emotions and demonstrating their use in everyday life ("Educating Head, Heart and Hand", T. Lickona). Our program, Alive to the World, in fully aligned with UNESCO's Goals for the XXI Century: Knowledge, Motivation and Skills. Seeing the effectivity of the story-telling technique, the anthropologically structured scaffolding and the non-judgemental approach to strengthening the person, family and community in all regions, our goal and mission is to implement our program in all deprived schools in Venezuela. To be active and outspoken in bringing public awareness to the dangers of a growing cohort of young males, with no formation in values, joining gangs, and the corresponding teenage mothers, in the vicious cycle of abandoned street children. To work to end the epidemic vicious cycle of poverty resulting from single, unprepared mothers and fatherless children in Venezuela with a coherent, structured and easily applicable educational program. To lead our team of experts in creating, updating, testing and improving educational curricula for the promotion of the universal values of integrity and responsibility in the modern world, constantly adapting to present challenges. To lead a concerted and special effort to teach the logic of the universally recognized values, and the logic of the Golden Rule. We are aware this need exists as not only the streets become dangerous but schools become ever more chaotic. The objective is to help children to grow in an understanding of the need to consider others, in every way, as they would like to be considered. This is the Golden Rule. To be happy and useful, they must learn to respect others, as they want to be respected and to treat others, as they would like to be treated. To educate young mothers in their children's growing experience focused on their future needs to live with human dignity. To design, coordinate and implement local programs in politically, socially and economically stricken Venezuela to help the pregnant mother, as well as their future children, healthy or challenged. To connect families with challenged babies with international experts in pursuit of their true potential, facilitating trained personnel to instruct and implement techniques and methods of achieving tailored programs of human potential at home. This program is called 'Proyecto Leopoldo'. Finally, our mission is to rebuild Venezuela teaching integrity to children and adolescents through this proven method.
PAS Foundation comes into being in the year 2010 with the purpose of providing a solution that impacts in the abatement of the frequency of Child Sexual Abuse (CSA), through the strengthening of families, school communities, public and private organizations, as well as the business sector. With innovative models of information, education, communication and assistance, resulting in the protection of every child and teenager, their parents and tutors being both alert and capable to identify, guide and channel in every instance when a symptom or situation of risk appears, making possible that they live in a safe environment. We seek to advance in Child Sexual Abuse prevention in every social setting, because it is a problem that affects the whole of society and because it has not been dealt with in an integral manner, notwithstanding that its consequences damage radically the lives of children and teenagers. Consequentially, we will, through educational programs, facilitate information and preventive tools to help people inhibit CSA in their environment, and at the same time we will facilitate instruments that will teach people what to do when a situation of risk does present. Mission: Promote a culture of prevention and care of Child Sexual Abuse through innovative educational programs and care models, so that children, teenagers and their families have a life free from sexual violence.

Our mission is for girls and young women around the world to have equal access to sport and to provide them with skills and abilities that will broaden their opportunities to fulfil their potential. We aim to use the power of football as a catalyst for change, levelling the playing field with respect to economic and gender disparities around the world. We seek to do this by: 1) Establishing safe spaces where girls and women can engage in play, training and competitions -these can be clubs, partnered programmes, competitions, workshops, school delivery, etc. but always ensuring they are are inclusive and bespoke to the participants. 2) Using our Girls United Methodology to deliver content that is focused on developing individuals both on and off the pitch. The syllabus and coaching methodology is integrated with life skills and opportunities to empower participantes, supporting them to find their voices and chase their dreams. 3) By creating agents of change within communities, we seek to challenge limiting gender norms, diminish discrimination and gender violence and change mentalities within entire communities which will favour growth and inclusion for all.
Founded in 2014, Arte Pro aims to enable children and youth in vulnerable situations to improve their emotional health while developing their cognitive and social skills through an exchange with artists from diverse disciplines. Arte Pro empower groups in vulnerable situations through an aesthetic education that unites the realms of art, society, and mindfulness. Our program is tailored to the individual psychological needs of each child and brings out their potential through art and play. Our work is based on current scientific studies and the deep understanding that there is never a problematical child, there are only problematic circumstances. Musicians, visual artists, dancers, and theatre actors collaborate with neuroscientists, child development specialists, psychologists, and pedagogues to build a program empowering children from ages 3 to 17. According to Nobel Prize winner, PhD. James J. Heckman, cognitive abilities are important determinants of socioeconomic success. Other important determinants include socioemotional skills, physical and mental health, perseverance, attention, motivation, and self-confidence. Arte Pro's ludic approach to aesthetic practice and mindfulness provides tools for self-reflection and introspection, creating a space for personal dialogue and sensitivity. Arte Pro promotes self-reliance, self-respect, and respect for others, while deepening thinking skills, confidence and self-esteem. Arte Pro's vision is clear: to replace the traumas of their past with a brighter future.Through this initiative, society has a chance to improve children's academic performance and future progression, as well as contribute to reducing the risk of resorting to crime, thus changing itself for the better.

Our vision: To be a self-sustainable educational community with an exponentially increasing impact on the socioeconomic development of high-risk communities through particular attention to children, adolescents, and young people Our programs provide educational services, from primary through high school and preparatory levels, to the Morelos population of children, adolescents, and young adults living in vulnerable socio-economic situations. We benefit more than 1,320 students in four municipalities by applying a humanistic model integrating education with a risk prevention program based on three main axes: training for peace, solidarity, and hope. Monthly internal cost per student: 1,622.25 pesos 81% of our students have scholarships We provide Primary, Secondary, Preparatorio, Universidad, and Post-Grad The Don Bosco Community Our community includes a scholarship program on our four campuses: Cuernavaca, Emiliano Zapata, Popotlan, and Colonia Juan Morales. These scholarships benefit 81% of our students, with the scholarship percentage calculated in relation to individual financial needs. For the past ten years, we have offered education to the children of Mixtec artisans who live in the "El Chiflon" ravine in Chulavista. Don Bosco's agreement with "El Centro Educativo La Buena Tierra" allows children from the former train tracks in Cuernavaca to continue their studies at the middle and high school levels. Through various agreements with Morelos's universities, Don Bosco's graduates are guaranteed access to both public and private universities. In the past five years, our Educaton program has allowed 821 students over 18 to obtain their Baccalaureate Certificate by Agreement 286 of the SEP. To date, Don Bosco has two economically productive projects: a bazaar and a water purification plant. These projects directly benefit the foundation and the nearby community. Juan Morales Rural Campus The Juan Bosco Digital Baccalaureate, located on the Juan Morales campus, began operations in 2016 at the request of the neighborhood's inhabitants in Yecapixtla, Morelos. Through a permanent commitment with UNAM five generations of students have graduated with a Preparatory degree, with a student continuity rate between grades trending at 98% Each school year, an average of 100 students study a curriculum based on the B@UNAM high school model in conjunction with the Don Bosco Foundation's humanistic model to provide comprehensive academic, psychological, and emotional support from a perspective of restorative justice and a risk prevention approach based on a Culture of Peace. Popotlan Rural Campus In 2015, the Popotlan High School opened its doors in Temoac, Morelos. Since this community had no viable high school options for young people, the Don Bosco Foundation proposed opening a high school using the same digital model developed in San Juan with UNAM. Most of the parents of our students at this campus are farmers or employees of the Huazulco candy factories. In this school year (24-25), 44 students are pursuing their high school degree through the B@UNAM agreement.
he World Federation of the Deaf (WFD) is an international non-governmental organisation representing and promoting approximately 70 million deaf people's human rights worldwide. The WFD is a federation of deaf organisations from 134 nations; its mission is to promote the human rights of deaf people and full, quality and equal access to all spheres of life, including self-determination, sign language, education, employment and community life. WFD has a consultative status in the United Nations and is a founding member of International Disability Alliance (IDA). At its recent World Congress in Jeju, South Korea, WFD members (136) approved the WFD strategic direction 2023-2030 and Action Plan 2023-2027. Important themes are covered in these 2 documents which strive to ensure that we create access for all deaf people to all ways of life in "a world where deaf people everywhere can sign anywhere" (vision). Furthermore, our mission is to work towards the full realisation of linguistic rights and human rights in all areas of life, with full recognition and implementation of these rights across local, national and international levels. To realise our mission and vision, the following are part of our Action Plan 2023-2027: Building Capacity across the Globe: ensuring increased participation of women, youth and underrepresented communities; provide effective capacity building projects to countries who are not yet members to assist them with creating their own national deaf associations so that they can represent themselves in their countries; Putting Deaf people on the Agenda: the WFD will continue to strive to put deaf human rights at the forefront of all representation internationally, including at the UN; we will effectively promote International Week of Deaf people and be ready to response to deaf people's needs in times of crises, disasters and war. Realising nothing about us without us: the WFD continues to be the leading authority for deaf people and sign languages and has committed to developing resources to assist deaf people raise awareness in their countries. Achieving Sign Language Rights for all: National sign languages are fundamental to achieving deaf people's human rights. We will aim to assist our member states in promoting the legal recognition of signed language in the country and advocate for early childhood language acquisition and inclusive multilingual education policies. Investing in a strong and sustainable organisation: to carry out our mission and vision we need greater investment in our secretariat and regional secretariat, expand our donor base, increase visibility and fundraising activities so that our organisation can carry on its important global work.
