The Boyce L. Ansley School is a tuition-free, private school for children who have or are currently experiencing homelessness. Our mission is to help break the cycle of generational poverty by providing collaborative family support and a complete academic program that empowers children and families to thrive beyond circumstance.

Many Rivers Montessori is a learning environment that fosters independent, academically prepared, and socially responsible citizens who will be lifelong learners and problem solvers. We provide an ideal learning environment that focuses on the whole child during each stage of development from toddlerhood through adolescence — the benefits of which last a lifetime.

THE PURPOSE OF THE CORPORATION IS TO PUBLISH, TEACH AND OTHERWISE PROMOTE THE SCIENTIFIC AND PHILOSOPHICAL CONCEPTS OF WALTER AND LAO RUSSELL, AND OTHER MEMBERS OF THE TWILIGHT CLUB, WHICH INCLUDED HERBERT SPENCER, EDWIN MARKHAM, AND ALEXIS CARRELL.

Our mission is to empower women and girls in rural regions of Sub-Saharan Africa through education to build better lives and foster more equitable communities

One Family aims to prevent homelessness and break the cycle of family poverty in Massachusetts by promoting pathways to economic independence through advocacy, education, and innovation.

We believe that there is a simple solution to many of the world’s most challenging and persistent problems. That solution is an understanding of how all global challenges originate in the human mind and can be directly addressed in the human mind. Change the thinking that drives global issues, and we can actually begin to solve our challenges, rather than dealing with the symptoms

The Foundation raises philanthropic support and distributes scholarships, emergency aid, and student services to increase access, persistence, and success for Los Angeles City College students—particularly those who are low‑income or historically underserved. It partners with donors and campus programs to address basic needs (food, housing, textbooks, transportation) and academic supports.

At Seattle Amistad School, we foster community integrity through rigorous bilingual and bicultural education, developing our students’ academic strengths and cultural sensibilities, while nurturing compassionate and engaged citizens.

Save the Bay™, and keep it saved, as defined by reaching a 70 on CBF's Health Index. The Chesapeake Bay Foundation's (CBF) mission, simply stated, is to Save the Bay and keep it saved. We define a Saved Bay as having a score of 70 (out of 100) on CBF's State of the Bay health index. Thanks largely to a dramatic reduction in the amount of pollution entering the system, at 70, the Chesapeake Bay and its tributary rivers will be highly productive and in good health as measured by established water-quality standards. The result will be clear water, free of impacts from toxic contaminants, and healthy oxygen levels, able to support living resources in all parts of the Bay.

From the degraded rainforests of Brazil to the arid landscapes of Morocco, Ecosystem Restoration Communities is a global movement that harnesses the collective power of individuals and communities to restore our planet’s ecosystems. Change takes root when it’s locally driven - and that’s why Ecosystem Restoration Communities are born, led, and sustained by the people who live there. Grounded in trust and community knowledge, they grow lasting solutions that ripple outward, educating, inspiring, and creating regional impact far beyond what traditional top-down conservation can achieve. When you support us, you help communities as they restore their land and livelihoods and foster a deep connection to nature - bringing hope, resilience, and global impact. Our mission is to: a) contribute to a fully functioning, peaceful, abundant and biologically diverse Earth through co-operative efforts for the ecological restoration of degraded lands; b) stimulate and support community based initiative, leadership, and capacity to implement activities and undertake interventions that result in restored ecological function, climate resilience, biodiversity enrichment, and restored water cycles while at the same time enhancing livelihoods and human well-being; c) disseminate knowledge, innovations and insights emanating from these community-based initiatives to policy makers, academia, practitioners and the general public; and d) train large numbers of people to restore the fundamental ecological integrity of earth, and to connect knowledge and expertise about these activities worldwide.

Peace Sisters assists over 470 underprivileged girls to access educational opportunities in Togo, West Africa. Peace Sisters was founded by Tina Kampor, a Togolese American woman who moved to California in 2003 and worked hard so she would be able to send money back to Togo to help girls who might otherwise have dropped out of school. School fee payments, solar study lamps, ID Cards, menstrual pads, and basic health insurance are some of the ways that Peace Sisters helps girls to succeed in their education. In 2021, Peace Sisters celebrated the first college graduation by a girl in our program!
