Prenatal Education for All
"We aim to provide parents and families with tangible resources to bridge the literacy gap that we see in our communities. As the pandemic has progressed and children have not been able to return to schools, we realized how the pandemic's inequities were harming children's education in a multitude of ways. During non-pandemic times, in low-income communities, the ratio of age-appropriate books is 1 for every 300 children. We set out on a mission to keep the literacy equity gap from growing. We've focused our efforts on getting high-quality books in the hands of children in vulnerable communities during this extended period."
