The Sapling Foundation is an organization that owns the TED global conference. It was founded by Chris Anderson in 1996. The organization describes its purpose as follows.  The goal of the foundation is to foster the spread of great ideas. It aims to provide a platform for the world's smartest thinkers, greatest visionaries and most-inspiring teachers, so that millions of people can gain a better understanding of the biggest issues faced by the world, and a desire to help create a better future.

At Pretend City, we believe young children learn best through play, families are our childrens first and most important teachers, diversity enriches childrens lives, and play changes the world. Our vision is to ensure that each child is ready for school success by providing real-world learning experiences that children need to develop essential foundational learning skills.

Because all children deserve excellent teachers, the Golden Apple Foundation advances the teaching profession by recognizing excellent teachers, leveraging their thinking and efforts to improve education, recruiting and preparing prospective teachers with a special emphasis on schools of need, and providing teachers access to innovative resources.

Just Say YES – Youth Equipped to Succeed (“JSY”) is a 501(c)3 nationally recognized provider of programs for youth in 38 states with an emphasis on the DFW area (75% of agency programming is in DFW).  The mission of Just Say YES is to provide youth with factual and relational information equipping them to live healthy and successful lives.  We accomplish this by assisting communities, schools, and school districts in developing a customized character/risk avoidance education strategy.  We then bring together various resources – speakers, curriculum, and multimedia presentations – to implement the strategy as we present selected programs encouraging teens to pursue goals and avoid high risk behaviors such as alcohol and drugs, teen sexual activity, and bullying.

ISB offers both a bilingual education that is based on the best of the French and American academic systems and leads to the French Baccalaureate or, alternatively, an international, English-based program leading to the International Baccalaureate Diploma. Within these two contexts, it is our aim, as our Philosophy states, “to provide students with a positive, inclusive learning environment, in which they have every opportunity to achieve their full potential.”

The mission of the Children’s Arts Guild is to support children in becoming emotionally intelligent, socially engaged, and productive citizens of the world through thoughtful art programs that build emotional competence, confidence, and social skills.

Holy Cross High School, a Catholic college preparatory school in Queens, New York, educates the hearts and minds of young men following the educational and spiritual vision of Blessed Father Basil Moreau, founder of the Congregation of Holy Cross. Holy Cross embraces students who reflect social and economic diversity.  The school strives to instill within each student a desire to identify and fully develop his talents while pursuing excellence in all his endeavors. Holy Cross’ varied academic programs and activities nurture and promote spiritual, intellectual, creative, social and psychological growth and development.  The ultimate goal is the formation of “The Holy Cross Man”. 

ISC serves our community through creating inspiring, accessible theater and bringing it to as wide an audience as possible. Our actions and our art are informed by the following beliefs: • Classic plays are our cultural legacy and, like all great art, they are a vital part of forming bonds both within our community as well as to the past. • Diversity within the production, as well as in the audience, creates stronger, more entertaining theatrical experiences. • The audience’s understanding and enjoyment of the theater experience is of paramount importance. • Great writing and skillful performances take precedence over the technical elements of contemporary theatre. • Dynamic speaking and innovative staging are the primary means of engaging the audience’s imagination. • Productions of classical plays should be readily available to all. • There is no greater cause than to expand current audiences and create future ones.
