Harvardwood is a nonprofit organization for members of the Harvard University community who believe in the power and purpose of the arts, media and entertainment. By providing professional resources and service opportunities, Harvardwood strives to utilize the creativity and leadership of our diverse members as forces for positive social change.

The Cystinosis Research Network, founded in 1996, grew out of the need to find improved treatments and a cure for cystinosis. Cystinosis Research Network is comprised entirely of volunteers that raise funds for cystinosis research, increase cystinosis education and awareness, and support cystinosis families.

The Educational Theatre Foundation (ETF) is the philanthropic arm of the Educational Theatre Association (EdTA). ETF advances the field of educational theatre by broadening representation and increasing access for all. ETF’s programs aim to support students, educators and the field at large by subsidizing new, emerging, and underserved student theatre programs, creating paths for theatre educators to develop new skills, and commissioning research to showcase the value of a theatre education.

CareerVillage.org CareerVillage.org is a platform that crowdsources career advice from 90k+ professionals for 5M+ underrepresented youth. Develop for Good Develop for Good is a volunteer platform pairing diverse university students with nonprofits for tech projects Learning Equality Learning Equality bridges the global digital divide by bringing the online learning revolution offline. UPchieve UPchieve provides free, online, & on-demand STEM tutoring for low-income high school students.

The COVID-19 Student Resource Food Fund sends funds to No Kid Hungry to help provide necessary nutrition as students lose access to meals. With many schools closing during the coronavirus outbreak, children may lose access to critical meals. No Kid Hungry is advocating for the U.S. Department of Agriculture to provide flexibility in how kids access meals during this time and for Congress to make sure SNAP is maximized for struggling families.
