Founded in 1989, Scientists in School is a leading science education charity that delivers in-class, hands-on science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM) and environmental workshops to Kindergarten to Grade 8 children. Our workshops enrich STEM curriculum through real-world, investigative activities, specialized materials and equipment, and highly-trained local presenters who are scientific role models. Donations to Scientists in School help us to do things such as subsidize workshop costs for schools, offer complimentary workshops to school and community groups servicing low-income neighborhoods, fill presenter kits for our workshops with specialized materials and equipment, train presenters, develop new workshops, revise existing workshops and expand our program into new regions and communities.

Friends in Kneed encourages young athletes to support one another through sharing their experiences in a forum, while learning about their injuries and how to prevent future injuries during the rest of their athletic careers. It gives athletes a community and a support network to let them know that they are not the only ones in their situations and that there are other athletes that are going through and have been through the same process. Friends in Kneed creates a student athlete knee-rehabilitation support group that in the future hopes to provide other injured athletes in financial need with aid for knee-related operations and proper rehabilitation.
