Education: We provide speakers and free publications such as the Privacy Handbook, Rights Talk, The Arrest Handbook, Police Complaints and the Citizenship Handbook. Advocacy: We provide direct assistance to individuals who have complaints or concerns about civil liberties violations by government, employers, etc. Common areas of work include police and privacy complaints, free speech and anti-oppression. Policy: We have played a major role in advocating for human rights legislation, police accountability reform, access-to-information and privacy legislation, while also resisting the more draconian anti-terrorism provisions. Litigation: When all else fails, the BCCLA will challenge laws in the courts. We have always fought to preserve freedom of expression in Canada through strategic litigation, such as opposing book bans. The Fund for American Studies has been educating young leaders on the values of freedom, democracy and free-market economies since 1967. Eleven institutes around the world bring college students together for educational programs engaging them in a rigorous examination of economic concepts, political systems, and moral philosophy. Our goal is to prepare young people for honorable leadership by educating them in the theory, practice, and benefits of a free society.

We help people to help each other effectively. We create and improve systems for multiplying good - based on the idea of mutual love, freedom and faith in the potential of another human being. Our actions are based on an intermediary mechanism. We do not help ourselves, we only create structures and tools thanks to which donors and volunteers can share with those in need. Through this we want to create new models of social behavior.

Sunrise Therapeutic Riding & Learning Centre is located on a beautiful 102-acre farm in Puslinch Township Ontario (close to both Guelph and Cambridge). Sunrise is a registered charity and has been serving children and adults with special needs since 1982.
