The Child Rehabilitation Centre is committed to strengthening Human Security & protecting Bio-Diversity in Sri Lanka.

We strive to build & strengthen the capacity of the communities and empower the people particularly poor, marginalized and excluded to address their development needs through integration and coordination at local, provincial and national level. Objectives: 1. Conflict Resolution and Promotion of Peace & tolerance in the society 2. Empower deprived segments of society Women, Minorities, Children, Laborer and peasants to secure their basic rights. 3. To advocate for provision/Improvement of Education, Health, clean drinking water and sanitation facilities. 4. To work for promotion of human rights specifically of women, minorities, labor and peasants rights 5. To promote the democratic values and political education and struggle for Empowered Local Governments 6. To work for Climate Resilient society Approach: A participatory approach is followed towards socio- economic and political development of communities. Local knowledge and wisdom is on priority basis and sense of ownership is promoted among the target communities. STRATEGIES: SDA has implemented integrated strategy for the development and empowerment of deprived communities. Following strategies have been adopted for the intervening: Committees of SDA on Thematic Areas to analyze the issues, plan and implement program. We work with children who have their rights violated (mistreat, malnourishment, abuse, neglect, among others) and with children who are exposed to situations of high social and psychological risks. In Superarse, we are promoters and guarantors of the rights of the child. We are committed with the protection of children and adolescents, supported in a model of personalization of our services and sustainability, contributing to the construction of individual and familiar life projects.

To promote the full inclusion of children and youth with disabilities in Catholic schools and religious education programs through education, advocacy, and public awareness. Inclusion is consistent with the protection of all human life and the promotion of human dignity. The inclusion of children with disabilities in Catholic schools is consistent with our Catholic faith.

Reporters Without Borders USA (RWB USA) is the U.S. office of the global organization, Reporters Sans Frontieres, a leading defender of freedom of information with almost 30 years of experience. A core belief of Reporters Without Borders is that only through freedom of information can one verify the existence of all the other freedoms. Without free circulation of information, it is impossible to strengthen human rights protection, advance government accountability, and improve the reach and the quality of social justice and civil liberties. At RWB, we are defending information, defending reporters and citizen reporters (netizens) whose work benefits ALL citizens.

Mission: Forging ways for women & girls in extreme poverty to learn, connect and lead. We operate only in places of extreme poverty: villages of South Sudan, Haiti, Malawi, and refugee camps in Kenya and Uganda. Our programs create opportunities for marginalized and displaced women and girls in critical areas: Education: We increase girls' access to education (K-University) through scholarships, extracurricular enhancements, and leadership skills workshops. Advocacy: We train all of our Scholars in leadership and advocacy. As MBB alumnae they use their voices to promote human rights for all, especially marginalized women and girls.

The Inter-Cultural Association of Greater Victoria (ICA) helps individuals and organizations to connect across cultures. We provide information, support and tools to help immigrants reach their goals. By engaging people through networks, education and arts programming we create a welcoming community. ICA offers services for newcomers, including settlement and integration counseling, translation and interpretation, English classes, mentoring, volunteer matching and peer support. We also provide outreach and education in the community through arts programming, as well as workshops on anti-racism, multiculturalism, diversity awareness, immigration and human rights.
