SAVE CHILDREN OF MBALE

My mission is to provide for a destitute child care home in rural Mbale Uganda by providing vital necessities and education to build possibilities for their future. Our goal is to keep families together and to avoid more abandonment by empowering impoverished communities with self sufficeny programs that will help them become self-reliant. The major cause of child abandonnement is due to single parent homes and lack of finances to sustain a healthy life for the child. Mbale Child Care Foundation is the registered foundation I started working with. I hope to expand with another registred child care home, Mcanaan Child Care Foundation that's also in Mbale. Mbale Child Care Foundation is on borrowed land in a flood and land slide zone. I aim to purchase no risk land for them. I want to raise money through fund raisers and child sponsorship programs.

Solve Education!

There are 263 million children and youth who do not attend school. Solve Education! is a not-for-profit organization that is committed to providing an opportunity to receive quality education for these students, as well as for the millions of others receiving an education which fails to improve their income-generating prospects. Leveraging the growing ubiquity of broadband and smartphones, we are experimenting with how to use game mechanics and artificial intelligence to enable the mass-customization of education. We are determined to provide an effective education for the children and youth around the world who are currently unable to access this.

Beacon Education

At Beacon Education, we are driven by the belief that a child’s zip code should not determine their destiny. By ensuring equitable access to high-quality education, we empower children and their families to close and even reverse the achievement and opportunity gaps. Powering Spark Academy and Girls Leadership Academy of Wilmington (GLOW) Inspiring Male & Female Children, 6-Weeks – 5 Years Old Spark Academy is a State-Of-The-Art, Early Childhood Development Program designed to nurture all children Ages 6-weeks – 5 years old. Featuring an unparalleled educational environment, engaging curriculum and warm setting, Spark Academy uses a mixed-income model to ensure all children are prepared to shine in kindergarten, as well as within the larger community. Spark is reimagined early care and learning for a diverse population of families who seek an experience that will provide their child a strong foundation for success today and beyond. Empowering female students from 6th Grade through 12th Grade The Girls Leadership Academy of Wilmington (GLOW), an all-girls public charter school, opened its doors in 2016 with its first 6th-grade class of 100 girls. We have added a new class of 6th graders each year and are now a comprehensive middle and high school, grades 6th-12th. At our school, we work hard to create a unique single-gender public charter school environment that focuses on rigorous college-preparatory education and the personal skills necessary for a successful college experience leading to graduation. The school culture challenges students to live a balanced life that develops confidence and compassion, critical thinking, and personal responsibility. We take our school's vision very seriously every day - She WILL... Graduate, Go to College, Succeed in Life!

Relay Education

TREC Education has pioneered educational programs about renewable energy and energy conservation for the past decade. Our hands on experiential educational programs have grown out of interest of the Windshare turbine located at Exhibition Place which is the first urban-sited, cooperatively owned turbine in North America. Our Programs -Our Kids' World of Energy program offers curriculum linked programs for elementary and secondary school students that introduce climate change, engineering and energy science. Through these curriculum links, we are able to help students explore the science behind renewable energy systems and the opportunities they hold. -Our Kids' World of Festival inspires and educates thousands of students and parents each year in the science and importance of renewable energy, energy conservation and sustainability. In community spaces across Ontario, we facilitate fun, hands-on workshops that provide a memorable experience for the young and not so young.
