To prepare gifted students to transform the world creatively through art and design. We can do this by (1) providing a rigorous education in art, design and the liberal arts that combines theory and creative application through facilitating aesthetic exploration and critical inquiry and reflection in a historical and contemporary context; (2) nurturing the professional, intellectual and personal growth of our students through access to dedicated preeminent, professionally active faculty; and (3) preparing our graduates for thriving multifaceted careers by creating partnerships that serve and involve the public, encourage lifelong learning and promote student engagement with local, national and international communities.

Drury is an independent university, church-related, grounded in the liberal arts tradition, and committed to personalized education in a community of scholars who value the arts of teaching and learning. Education at Drury seeks to cultivate spiritual sensibilities and imaginative faculties as well as ethical insight and critical thought; to foster the integration of theoretical and practical knowledge; and to liberate persons to participate responsibly in and contribute to a global community.

To close the achievement gap by providing financially disadvantaged students with free tutoring, training, scholarships and work experience.

The Rutherford Institute, a nonprofit civil liberties organization based in Charlottesville, VA, is deeply committed to protecting the constitutional freedoms of every American and the integral human rights of all people through its extensive legal and educational programs. The Institute provides its legal services at no charge to those whose constitutional and human rights have been threatened or violated.

The Oregon Club of Portland has a mission to raise funds for the support of University of Oregon Athletic Programs and the Athletic Department. We will foster a spirit of loyalty and enthusiam among University of Oregon Alumni and fans in the Portland Area. We are dedicated to seeing the University of Oregon continue to achieve athletic and academic excellence. The Oregon Club of Portland is dedicated to raising money for University of Oregon Athletic Scholarships and Athletic Programs.

Oklahoma City University embraces the United Methodist tradition of scholarship and service and welcomes all faiths in a culturally rich community dedicated to student success. Men and women pursue academic excellence through a rigorous curriculum focused on students' intellectual, moral, and spiritual development to prepare them to become effective leaders in service to their communities.

World University & School's mission (http://worlduniversityandschool.org - like Wikipedia with MIT Open Course Ware), in reaching out to the entire world, is to provide a free, wiki-based education platform for knowledge generation, and, through facilitating the development of broadband worldwide, to make our service accessible to under served parts of the world. The WUaS mission is thus to facilitate all levels of teaching and learning opportunities (and future degrees) through an open, editable wiki in all languages, nation-states and subjects with great universities, and for One Laptop per Child countries and everyone.
