THE WCSU FOUNDATION, INC OPERATES EXCLUSIVELY TO SOLICIT ALL FORMS OF DONATIONS AND DISBURSES SUCH FUNDS TO AID, SUPPLEMENT, IMP ROVE AND EN LARGE THE EDUCATIONAL, CULT URAL AND RESEARCH FACILITIES AND ACTIVITIES OF WESTERN CONNECTICUT STATE UNIVERSITY.

The mission of the NCC Foundation is three-fold: •Raise funds for NCC programs and scholarships •Invest, administer and distribute funds so that students of all ages continue to benefit from challenging opportunities for self-improvement and intellectual growth •Inspire and engage our community to share talents and resources.

THE FOUNDATION IS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATION ORGANIZED UNDER THE LAWS OF NEW YORK STATE FOR THE PRINCIPAL PURPOSE OF ACCEPTING,HOLDING,INVESTING AND ADMINISTERING ANY PROCEEDS OR PROPERTIES RESULTING FROM GIFTS, BEQUESTS, DEVISES OR FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES AND DISBURSING OR DONATING THE INCOME OR PRINCIPAL THEREOF FOR BENEFIT OF NASSAU COMMUNITY COLLEGE INCLUDING, AMONG OTHER THINGS, THE MAKING OF GRANTS AND SCHOLARSHIPS TO FACULTY AND STUDENTS, THE MAKING OF GRANTS TO NASSAU COMMUNITY COLLEGE FOR OPERATING AND CAPITAL EXPENDITURES, AND FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR CONTINUING DEVELOPMENT OF THE FACULTY AND STAFF AND PROGRAMS OF NASSAU COMMUNITY COLLEGE.

The Foundation's Primary Mission Is To Accept And Manage Gifts To Suny Delhi, To Make Grants Of Financial Assistance To Suny Delhi Students, And To Assist In Advancing The Welfare, Personal And Professional Growth Of The Faculty And Staff At Suny Delhi.

Traditionally a college for women, and one of the first colleges to confer a college degree to women, SEU was founded by the Sisters of Charity in 1899, with a mission to be a community of learning in the Catholic liberal arts for students of diverse ages, backgrounds, and cultures. SEU will be nationally recognized for its academic excellence and commitment to developing leadership in our underserved student body. SEU is federally designated as a Minority and Hispanic-serving institution of higher education, serving approximately 1,200 students. SEU's strategic priorities focus on increasing student enrollment, academic success, and degree completion rates. SEU has a long-standing commitment to social justice which highlights our firm belief in inclusion, equity and advocacy for all.

The University operates on two campuses in Lodi and Rutherford, New Jersey. The University is one of the institutions of higher learning conducted by the Felician Sisters in the United States. Founded by the Felician Sisters of Lodi, New Jersey, it began as Immaculate Conception Normal School with the first summer session commencing on July 5, 1923.
