The mission of Mount Tamalpais College is to provide an intellectually rigorous, inclusive Associate of Arts degree program and college preparatory program, free of charge, to people at San Quentin State Prison; to expand access to quality higher education for incarcerated people; and to foster the values of equity, civic engagement, independence of thought, and freedom of expression.

The mission of the Foundation is "to change lives by supporting opportunities and innovation at Delta College" The Foundation was established to raise, receive and administer donations for the College by building relationships with donors and directing fundraising efforts. All contributions to the Foundation are transferred or spent to benefit the College's students, educational programs, staff development, capital projects and other financial needs.

The UConn Foundation raises, manages, and disburses private philanthropic support to benefit the University of Connecticut and UConn Health — funding scholarships, faculty support, research, clinical and academic programs, and campus priorities. It stewards endowed and donor-designated funds and serves as the University’s primary private fundraising vehicle to advance education, research, and public service.
