Blackburn College, founded in 1837 and affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (USA), provides a coeducational student body with a rigorous, distinctive, and affordable liberal arts education that prepares graduates to be responsible, productive citizens. Its mission seeks to: generate funds and endowments for scholarships to Grayson College students; encourage gifts for facilities and equipment; develop private funding sources for new programmatic ventures; and communicate the evolving needs of the College to constituencies to facilitate collaborative and mutually supportive relationships.
