The Inter-Cultural Association of Greater Victoria (ICA) helps individuals and organizations to connect across cultures. We provide information, support and tools to help immigrants reach their goals. By engaging people through networks, education and arts programming we create a welcoming community. ICA offers services for newcomers, including settlement and integration counseling, translation and interpretation, English classes, mentoring, volunteer matching and peer support. We also provide outreach and education in the community through arts programming, as well as workshops on anti-racism, multiculturalism, diversity awareness, immigration and human rights.

CLA-ACE provides opportunities for the Canadian legal community to become more actively involved in understanding and providing solutions to pressing good governance, rule of law and human rights issues. CLA-ACE pursues its mission by: (1) Helping Canadian law students become the next generation of Canadian citizens and leaders committed to using their legal skills to improve the lives of others; (2) Offering concrete, hands-on domestic and international activities and projects for Canadian lawyers and law students; (3) Raising awareness among the Canadian public about challenging international legal issues.

Mission: Forging ways for women & girls in extreme poverty to learn, connect and lead. We operate only in places of extreme poverty: villages of South Sudan, Haiti, Malawi, and refugee camps in Kenya and Uganda. Our programs create opportunities for marginalized and displaced women and girls in critical areas: Education: We increase girls' access to education (K-University) through scholarships, extracurricular enhancements, and leadership skills workshops. Advocacy: We train all of our Scholars in leadership and advocacy. As MBB alumnae they use their voices to promote human rights for all, especially marginalized women and girls.

NAWL is a feminist non-profit organization that has worked to promote the equality rights of all women in Canada since 1974. NAWL is governed by a regionally representative Steering Committee elected by our membership.

Hope Without Borders is an independent, non-discriminatory humanitarian aid organization created to promote humanitarian aid - with the simple wish of helping those in need. It is a registered Canadian Charity and has no religious affiliation. "Many people around the world are suffering; women are physically and verbally abused; families are living through poverty without hope - and they all need help. CityReach Care Society offers a range of programs and activities focused on serving the tangible needs of the community(such as our Food for Families, Club Freedom and Out of School Care programs)as well as providing opportunity for personal growth and development. We realize that our community faces some challenging circumstances around the issue of poverty, however, we believe that the human spirit is tenacious and with the right encouragement and support, families can move beyond poverty into a place of prosperity. The dictionary definition of "prosper" is to render successful, to thrive, to make gain, to grow, to increase, to make steady progress, to flourish-essentially it is the opposite of poverty and we are passionately committed to providing programs and activities that will help families and individuals in our community prosper in all areas of life.

UNA-Canada strives for a better world. We focus on the UN issues of peace and security, sustainable development, human rights, and global cooperation. We work directly with youth and educators, building the capacity of young Canadians able to effect positive global change. We foster Canadian support for the UN and the values that drive it - freedom, equity, tolerance, non-violence, respect for nature and shared responsibility. We also help define foreign policy priorities for the Canadian Government. OUR FUNDS: General - supports national projects; Membership - is both national and local; Projects - supports specific national projects/programmes; Reserve - invested, providing ongoing national support; Branch - supports local volunteer-driven initiatives.
