SEMBEQ is an evangelical Baptist seminary based out of Montreal, Quebec. SEMBEQ was founded in 1973 in response to a lack of formal training to train up leaders. It is not a residential seminary, but one that works directly in and through local French Baptist churches, helping them train up pastors, evangelists, church planters, teachers and leaders from within their congregation. Churches were being planted, but the leaders and elders in the church had no formal seminary training and for them to leave their churches for four years would be out of the question. SEMBEQ’s main goal from the beginning was church based training—to train churches to train their leaders.

The Montessori School of Cambridge was established in 1972 and offers a variety of classes for Toddlers, Preschool, JK, SK. Improved facilities would certainly complement the quality of our teachers, curriculum and learning materials and allow for growth. Montessori education is based on the work of Italian physician, Dr. Maria Montessori, whose research in the first half of the twentieth century gave birth to an innovative educational system that has grown worldwide. In January 2007, there was an international celebration of the centenary of her first class in Rome. Dr. Montessori developed a philosophy based on the natural development of children and their intrinsic desire to explore, discover and learn from the world around them.

RJC offers a positive, healthy environment that allows students to experience structured independence while being part of a community of caring students, teachers, deans and support staff. As a Christian educational community within the Anabaptist Mennonite tradition, Rosthern Junior College understands that the education of children is a shared responsibility of the school, the home and the church. By forming valuable and practical policy packages, and communicating them ingenuously and persistently, Cardus is changing the landscape of public discussion.

Pickering Christian School was founded in 1985 and is registered with the Ontario Ministry of Education and offers a Christ-centered academic program that meets or exceeds the Ministry of Education guidelines. PCS offers Grades JK to 8. Our curriculum is based around the Word of God, as we believe that it is the center of all truth. Established in 1959, Canada’s National Ballet School is one of the world’s foremost training institutions for aspiring young dancers and teachers. Attracting students from across the country and around the world, NBS is the only ballet academy in North America to provide elite dance training, academic instruction and residential care on the same campus. The School’s progressive curriculum, with its emphasis on the physical and emotional well-being of the student, has put NBS at the forefront of dance training internationally. Every effort is made to ensure no student is denied access to the School because of financial circumstances. The Coquitlam Montessori Society has been a registered non profit charity since 1985. Originally formed in 1983 when a group of parents, who wanted another alternative in our public school system for their children, worked together with the School District #43 (Coquitlam) to incorporate the Montessori philosophy into the public school system. The CMS follows the Society Act of BC and it's bylaws and is a registered Nonprofit Organization. Since the beginning, Montessori parents have volunteered their time to raise funds from the Montessori families to: 1) Inform, educate and market the program to the general public 2) Purchase Montessori equipment for new and existing classrooms 3) Financially support teachers with Montessori training, conferences and workshops

Support Means Success Autism Nova Scotia supports individuals with autism, their families, educators, healthcare professionals and researchers. We provide information materials, research assistance and a friendly atmosphere to support our members in their desire to understand autism. With an improved understanding, they can make informed decisions for a positive impact on their own lives or the person in their care with autism. By providing parents and people with autism with information that can help them seek more effective therapy and support options, a teacher with a strategy that can foster better inclusion in the classroom, or an autistic adult with leads to an employment opportunity, greater successes for individuals with autism and their caregivers can be achieved. That is why, at Autism Nova Scotia, we believe that support means success.

Because democracies rely upon a well-educated citizenry, CCLET’s mission is to engage Canadians in developing the habits they need to participate in the democratic process. Among the outreach programmes of the Canadian Civil Liberties Trust are Civil Liberties in the Schools and Teaching Civil Liberties. These programs focus on getting students to ask critical questions about their rights and freedoms. By shining the light of inquiry on unfairness, we begin the process of change. Through CCLET guest speakers, conferences, and workshops for schools and community organizations, participants are engaged in lively discussions about their rights and freedoms and the important legal and civil liberties issues created by a pluralistic society. Particular emphasis is on providing programmes for student teachers, and high school law and social studies students.
