The Voter Participation Center (VPC) works to ensure the New American Majority (NAM): people of color, young people, and unmarried women, engage in democracy equal to their presence in society through voter registration, mobilization, and education. VPC is a civic engagement organization that primarily uses direct mail and digital platforms in metrics driven, targeted programming steeped in research and learning about the populations it serves. VPC is committed to continuous innovation, evolution, experimentation and the development of new approaches to help realize the full voting potential of the NAM, and to working in partnership with local, state and national civic engagement efforts. VPC envisions a democracy where all voices are heard equally in elections and political discourse

There are an estimated 57 million children around the world who do not attend primary school - more than half of these are girls. Basic literacy and numeracy are the fundamental tools that will enable girls and women, as well as boys and men, to take hold of their lives and develop solutions adapted to the needs of their communities and country. Research convincingly shows that programs directed to the education of girls are more effective than virtually any other community investment in the developing world. Basic quality education provides girls with access to health and nutrition information for themselves and their family - including helping to prevent the transmission of HIV/AIDS. It provides a safe place to grow as they learn. It gives them the knowledge to provide economic support to their family.

The Fresh Outlook Foundation (FOF) envisions a future in which people of all ages and from all sectors communicate and collaborate to make our communities more socially, culturally, environmentally, and economically sustainable. This is possible only when people talk with one another about important community issues, challenges, and opportunities. To that end, the Fresh Outlook Foundation’s passion is “building sustainABLE communities through conversations that inspire positive change.” FOF creates opportunities for those conversations to unfold at events such as the Building SustainAble Communities conference, REEL CHANGE SustainAbility Film Fest, ECO-BLAST Kids’ Camp & Concert, Thompson-Okanagan Climate Action Exchange, Breakfast of Champions, and Women 4 SustainAbility.

We work together with other Hope Story organizations in a multinational context to rescue orphaned and unprotected children and place them in safe, family-style homes where they can thrive in an atmosphere of acceptance, holistic care, and Christian love. In many places we also build schools and develop relevant community impact programs including outreach centers, medical clinics, care centers and our “Keeping Families Together” initiatives. In Canada, Hope Story is a gathering point for men, women and children who dream of long-term sustainable change in the life of another person as a practical, meaningful expression of the heart of God. Southern Africa Embrace (SAE)Foundation is an International Charitable Organization founded in 2010 in Toronto, Canada. SAE Foundation is committed to advocating, supporting and promoting the wellbeing of marginalized women and children/orphans (0-16yrs) in the Southern African countries of Botswana, Lesotho, Swaziland, Republic of South Africa and Zimbabwe. It is the hope of SAE Foundation to sponsor and work in collaboration with selected clinics, shelters, educational organizations, orphanages, religious organizations, NGO's, individuals and corporate firms to advance its mission. SAE Foundation believes in equality for all regardless of sex, religion, ethnicity, status, age and educational background. The organization is founded and stands firm on the principles of equality for all, compassion, love, dignity, care and respect for each life/persons

The American Studies Center is a non-partisan educational organization approved by the Internal Revenue Service as a public foundation operating under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue code. The American Studies Center engages in nonpartisan analysis, study and research into the interrelationship of governmental systems, activities and policies on the private sector, and to make the results available to the general public through conferences, publications and radio and television productions. One of the Center’s programs is “Radio America.” Radio America produces daily and weekly programs and documentaries covering a wide range of current public policy issues.  The American Studies Center’s other program is the American Veterans Center, whose mission is to preserve and pass on to future generations, the legacy of America’s fighting men and women of every generation.    

viBe Theater Experience (viBe) produces original, free theater, music and videos about real-life issues written and performed by teen girls. We provide a safe, creative space for under-served girls to express their voices, take on challenges and gain the self-confidence necessary to succeed personally, artistically and academically. viBe empowers girls through free programs, which engage and inspire them to write, create, publish, direct and perform personal and truthful collaborative theater and music. Since 2002, over 60 viBe productions have brought free theater, live musical performances, music videos and radio plays to thousands of diverse audience members, changing their perceptions about the kind of art that young women can create.

To develop men into servant-first leaders worldwide; to train men to discover and live out their created-for purpose in authentic community as a Band of Brothers, loving husbands and fathers, and as followers of Jesus, the ultimate servant leader; to leverage the advance of the Kingdom of God on earth by aligning with like-minded social activist and faith-based organizations to bind up the broken hearted, empower the poor, rescue women and children at risk, mentor and rehabilitate prisoners, set free those who are bound in chains, and awaken those who sleep. And while doing so with all diligence and genuine humility, acknowledging and deflecting any and all credit or praise to our Father in Heaven who gave us life, the will and love to serve others, and every gift we have to give.

The National Farmers Foundation has a board of directors made up of five persons known for their commitment to education and research for the benefit of the family farm in Canada. The directors are in sympathy with the goals, objectives, and policy of the National Farmers Union. Representatives of various sectors in the country, such as family farmers, organic product marketers, new rural development groups, churches, rural youth and women, and urban consumers supported the establishment of the organization. Many of these have identified a vacuum with respect to accessible education and plain language research to help direct the crucial ventures in rural development which will mean not only survival, but the thriving of rural communities into the twenty - first century. A new awareness of the interdependence of rural and urban communities creates a challenge to promote action-oriented education and research which will create and enhance positive rural/urban cooperation.

In any given year Search and Rescue groups in BC respond to nearly 1000 incidents involving over 1300 missing (lost) or injured persons. Our 2500 unpaid professional volunteers, located in more than 80 BC communities are available day or night. Together these men and women donate over 100,000 hours of their time on callouts annually, and an astounding 95% subjects were found or rescued within the first 24 hours of a volunteer SAR group being activated. This volunteer service offers tremendous value for citizens and visitors alike. The cost to replace this volunteer service in direct salary dollars alone would exceed $5,000,000 annually (excluding infrastructure and capital costs, which are estimated at over 50 million dollars).
