Beehive’s education mission is three-fold: We seek to nurture the whole child. Beehive provides a variety of experiences to meet the intellectual, social, emotional and physical needs of children. The program is designed to foster positive feelings towards school so that children will leave the program eager to continue learning in both formal and informal settings. Because parents attend Beehive with their children, parents demonstrate to their children the value they place on education and encourage a lifelong habit of learning. Beehive provides parents with opportunities to increase their knowledge about child development and improve their parenting skills. This is accomplished through making the books in our Parent Library available, scheduling parent meetings and guest speakers, and interacting frequently with other parents and Beehive staff.

Our mission is to create a stimulating, nurturing environment where children can develop intellectually, physically, emotionally and socially while adults become better parents through education, observation, and community support. At Parents Nursery School (PNS), we believe that families thrive when children are given ample space to explore, pretend, and learn through play, and parents are actively involved in their child’s education. We also believe that parents become more effective and connected when given the opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of early childhood development through parent education, informal observation, and community exchange. PNS provides an environment where families work together in the true cooperative spirit to create a positive learning environment for the children and the parents.

Family Connections knows that a positive family dynamic is key to a child’s success. That is why Family Connections is a family learning community focused on education and growth for underserved children AND their parents and caregivers. Our mission is to create the highest quality family learning community so underserved children and parents together become the drivers of their own success.

Los Altos Parent Preschool (LAPP) is a community of parents and educators committed to providing an enriching environment for children through parent education, parent involvement, and mutual support. LAPP is a child-centered, developmentally appropriate, anti-bias program, focused on the whole child. The school fosters imagination and individuality in each child. We understand that children, parents, and staff are growing and that the process of growth involves mistakes. Every individual will be treated with respect, compassion, acceptance and encouragement as each work toward their goals.

Foundation (LCP) offers free preschool, Parent Education, home visits and parent support to families on the Central Coast. We engineer the school environment to meet the diverse needs of students, employ highly trained staff, pay fair wages, and partner with parents to create our unique program that builds strong children, families and community.
