Los Altos Parent Preschool (LAPP) is a community of parents and educators committed to providing an enriching environment for children through parent education, parent involvement, and mutual support. LAPP is a child-centered, developmentally appropriate, anti-bias program, focused on the whole child. The school fosters imagination and individuality in each child. We understand that children, parents, and staff are growing and that the process of growth involves mistakes. Every individual will be treated with respect, compassion, acceptance and encouragement as each work toward their goals.

Foundation (LCP) offers free preschool, Parent Education, home visits and parent support to families on the Central Coast. We engineer the school environment to meet the diverse needs of students, employ highly trained staff, pay fair wages, and partner with parents to create our unique program that builds strong children, families and community. It provides residential homes, care/after‑school centers, rehabilitation services and women’s empowerment programs delivering food, shelter, education, medical care and spiritual support so children and women can build stable, independent lives.
