ECDC has always believed that each child should be treated as an individual and has the opportunity to develop at his or her own pace with our low teacher/child ratios. The classroom environment promotes our philosophy that children learn through play with many independent choices available through the day. We have many self-directed activities as well as large and small group activities. We believe that the process of learning is more important than the product. Children are encouraged and supported by our trained staff as they play and learn. Having our graduates well prepared for kindergarten is an important goal at ECDC. goals and objectives our classes are child centered with activities designed to meet each child’s developmental needs. The goal of ecdc is to foster social, emotional, physical and intellectual growth in a nurturing and secure environment. Our program has three different cornerstones: • learn through play: we believe that all preschool children learn best through play. Each child is treated as an individual and has the opportunity to develop at his or her own pace. Our classroom environment reflects this philosophy with many independent choices available through the day. At ecdc, the process of learning is more important than the product. • parent involvement: the most effective education results from a partnership between parents and teachers. For this reason, ecdc was established in 1977 in sherborn as a parent cooperative. Parents spend time in the classroom interacting with their child and the teachers. The minimum time requirement is quite modest, between 4 and 7 times per year in the classroom as your child’s “guest. ” there are additional opportunities for parents who are interested, and additional involvement is welcomed. • qualified and committed staff: qualified, committed, caring and enthusiastic teachers are the cornerstone of an effective early education program. A certified early childhood educator directs ecdc, and all of our teachers have or are working toward early childhood certification. We support continuing early childhood education for our teachers.

Assistance League of Ventura County, a chapter of National Assistance League®, is a non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to the enrichment of the lives of children in Ventura County and the betterment of their future.

Since 1952, Easterseals DuPage & Fox Valley has been here for the whole family. From answering questions, to providing specialized services, Easterseals is committed to helping people at every age. As one of the largest and most highly regarded outpatient pediatric rehabilitation service providers in the Midwest, Easterseals serves more than 3,200 infants, children and young adults with services that help them to achieve their goals and build a brighter future. Our vision is that all children receive the developmental services they need to live their best life. Easterseals DuPage & Fox Valley's mission is to enable infants, children, and adults with disabilities to achieve their maximum independence, and to provide support for the families who love and care for them.

Overview: Raising a Reader is a national nonprofit that partners with parents and local agencies to create brighter futures for children by strengthening family bonds. Family engagement is at the core of what we do. Our evidence-based programs help caring adults set their children up for success by creating shared reading routines, fostering social emotional learning, healthy family relationships and learning skills needed to thrive in school and beyond.

At Santa Clara Parents Nursery School (SCPNS), we believe in the power of play. We are a non-profit, parent participation preschool, nurturing our children’s physical, social, intellectual, and creative development through hands-on and active play. Through self-directed play, our children learn about and interact with their world, acquiring the skills necessary to succeed as adults. SCPNS thrives because of our dedicated community – our teachers, our families, and you.

Cottonwood Preschool is a non-profit corporation, founded in 1981 by a group of dedicated parents who identified a need for a pre-school program that was different than others in the Littleton area. These parents imagined a preschool where their cooperative efforts could create a stimulating and exciting learning environment for their children. They created a school where parents could play a direct role in their child's education. Today, Cottonwood Preschool is one of a handful of parent cooperative preschools in the Denver area. We continue to have a very dedicated group of parents who are committed to carrying on the tradition of excellence at Cottonwood. Cottonwood embraces a developmental, play based philosophy of learning, which supports and respects the child as he/she is. Cottonwood supports the knowledge that children learn best through play and hands-on experiences. Through the guidance of carefully selected teachers, the child will have the opportunity to explore and enrich his/her world socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually toward optimal growth.

Ready Readers inspires preschool-age children from low-income communities to become readers by reading aloud to them, increasing their exposure to quality books, and providing literacy-related experiences.
