Lenox Hill Neighborhood House provides an extensive array of effective and integrated services - social, educational, legal, health, housing, mental health, nutritional and fitness - which significantly improve the lives of 15,000 people in need each year, ages 3 to 103, on the East Side of Manhattan.

The Forest School Foundation is a volunteer-led 501(c)(3) that promotes and grows outdoor, nature-based early childhood education (forest schools) in Western North Carolina and the Southeast. It runs the Growing Wild Forest School and supports scholarships, teacher training, and advocacy to expand access to outdoor learning.

Mothers Club Family Learning Center prepares families living in isolation and poverty to succeed in school and in life. We promote strong parent-child relationships and encourage friendship and mutual support among mothers through our education programs and social services, thereby creating a stronger community for all families.

THE HOCKESSIN MONTESSORI SCHOOL PROVIDES EXCELLENCE IN EDUCATION FOR OUR COMMUNITY. THEY SUPPORT AND ENCOURAGE EACH INDIVIDUAL IN REALIZING THEIR FULL POTENTIAL BY USING AN INNOVATIVE AND PROGRESSIVE MONTESSORI METHODOLOGY TO DEVELOP ACADEMICALLY, INTELLECTUALLY, SOCIALLY, EMOTIONALLY AND MORALLY IN A NURTURING AND SECURE ENVIRONMENT. Crayons to Computers supplies teachers who serve students in need by operating a free Teacher Resource Center, online ordering and outreach programs so educators can get classroom supplies, incentives and basic essentials at no cost. Their work aims to “level the playing field” so students from low-income households have the tools to participate and learn.

Middleton Early Learning Center provides excellence in early childhood education in a loving, nurturing atmosphere at a cost that young families can afford. Fully accredited by the state of New Jersey, MELC seeks to foster independence, trust and self-esteem as each child develops according to his or her potential. MELC is a non-profit organization, governed by an independent board.

Noe Valley Nursery School, a cooperative preschool, was started in 1969 by a group of San Francisco parents in the Noe valley neighborhood. We continue to be a community of parents interested in taking part in our children's preschool experience. All families share in the planning and operation of the school. Our parents staff the school under the direct guidance of a qualified master's-level preschool teacher. Our school is a proud and active member of the California council of parent participation nursery schools, which has also been serving San Francisco families since 1969. At NVNS, we welcome all ethnicities, religions, orientations, abilities, and backgrounds. We are one inclusive community, and we celebrate our differences.
