Peopleplace is a cooperative preschool where parents are partners in the education of their child. Their programs are inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach to early childhood education.

At Shalom School, the warmth and rapport between teachers and children create classrooms of curious learners. They are developing critical thinking skills, socially appropriate interactions, Jewish pride and love for living a Jewish life.

Our preschool environment aims to maintain and reinforce our children’s Spanish home language and create a school where parents and children experience collective participation, ecological responsibility, holistic health, and progressive social consciousness. We believe that the experience of diversity (diversity of race, gender, ethnic origin, economics and opinion) creates a rich learning environment and is necessary preparation for living in a diverse world. St Philip's Child Development Center's mission is to provide a safe, positive learning environment for the youngest children of our community; to nurture their spiritual, physical, social, emotional and cognitive growth with a curriculum of excellence focused on school readiness; to support and strengthen families.

The school offers a carefully prepared, safe and nurturing environment in which children, age 3 to 6 actively engage in a variety of work areas to encourage their fullest development. Inspired by Dr. Maria Montessori, the school endeavors to instill a life-long love of learning.
