Founded in 2004 by a group of young professionals who believed people can make a difference, HandsOn Shanghai is an officially registered non-profit organization with the Shanghai Civil Affair Bureau since 2010. Governed by a board of 11 members, the HandsOn Shanghai volunteer platform helps to bridge the divide that exists between individuals who are looking to give back to their community and the organizations that would benefit from the support that volunteers can provide. With a primary objective of providing flexible volunteer opportunities for busy professionals and serving local charities in needs, HOS manages a big group of volunteers and a diverse range of community service projects in Shanghai Currently we engage more than 2500 volunteers each month through more than 150 local service projects. Projects that benefit the young and old through long term, committed, partnerships with more than 75 project partners. With our mission is to promote volunteerism, inspire, equip and mobilize people to take action that changes the world, we envision a world in which individuals, students, and corporate leaders are able to discover (and harness) their power to make a difference, participate as volunteers, and participants in the development of healthy, vibrant, and resilient communities.

MISSION: Concordia Welfare & Education Foundation is a Hong Kong based non-profit organization founded by Lutheran Christians and dedicated to improving the lives of impoverished rural communities in Asia through education and service. We partner with local communities, organizations and governments to identify sources of poverty and implement programs in the areas of education and community health. Mission: Empowering donors to support grassroots NGOs in China At present, most grassroots NGOs lack an effective method for professional fund-raising and most Chinese official foundations provide very limited grant opportunities. The resulting funding gap forces them to focus a disproportionate amount of time on maintaining the operation of their organizations. As a result, they usually have neither the energy nor money to conduct large-scale fund-raising activities or focus on improving the impact of their programs. Shanghai United Foundation (SUF) focuses on fund-raising for grassroots NGOs in an effort to relieve much of the financial burden that limits the growth and impact of promising organizations.

YVC is a network connecting and empowering LGBTQ+ adolescents and young adults between ages of 15 to 30 years to advocate on their health, safety and security, and social acceptance in Asia and the Pacific. Youth Voices Count envisions a society in which young people of [all] sexual and gender diversity including [those that identify as] lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer identities lead safe and free lives with equal opportunity to achieve their full potential and well-being.

CIFOR advances human well-being, equity and environmental integrity by conducting innovative research, developing partners' capacity and actively engaging in dialogue with all stakeholders to inform policies and practices that affect forests and people.

Our international initiatives aim to support the change we want to see in the world by empowering and encouraging student change agents and supporting them in actively creating shifts in the way curricula are structured and developed. Our focus is on economics and management education, including multiple transdisciplinary perspectives and learning approaches. With our work, we provide fertile ground for the leaders of tomorrow to grow and learn: Our philosophy is that to support individuals in becoming sustainability leaders, education has to focus on fostering students to have "...an enhanced understanding of themselves, their abilities and desires, as well as a more profound understanding of their fellow humans and the world they inhabit. For over 30 years we have been continuously innovating with formats that provide platforms for learning, creating and sharing solutions: social labs, conferences, webinars, workshops, simulation games, learning journeys are just some examples. At oikos, we have been coming together as a global community of student change agents for over 30 years. Spread in over 20 countries and 50 cities worldwide, we organize on campus to raise awareness for sustainability and transform our own education.

he World Federation of the Deaf (WFD) is an international non-governmental organisation representing and promoting approximately 70 million deaf people's human rights worldwide. The WFD is a federation of deaf organisations from 134 nations; its mission is to promote the human rights of deaf people and full, quality and equal access to all spheres of life, including self-determination, sign language, education, employment and community life. WFD has a consultative status in the United Nations and is a founding member of International Disability Alliance (IDA). At its recent World Congress in Jeju, South Korea, WFD members (136) approved the WFD strategic direction 2023-2030 and Action Plan 2023-2027. Important themes are covered in these 2 documents which strive to ensure that we create access for all deaf people to all ways of life in "a world where deaf people everywhere can sign anywhere" (vision). Furthermore, our mission is to work towards the full realisation of linguistic rights and human rights in all areas of life, with full recognition and implementation of these rights across local, national and international levels. To realise our mission and vision, the following are part of our Action Plan 2023-2027: Building Capacity across the Globe: ensuring increased participation of women, youth and underrepresented communities; provide effective capacity building projects to countries who are not yet members to assist them with creating their own national deaf associations so that they can represent themselves in their countries; Putting Deaf people on the Agenda: the WFD will continue to strive to put deaf human rights at the forefront of all representation internationally, including at the UN; we will effectively promote International Week of Deaf people and be ready to response to deaf people's needs in times of crises, disasters and war. Realising nothing about us without us: the WFD continues to be the leading authority for deaf people and sign languages and has committed to developing resources to assist deaf people raise awareness in their countries. Achieving Sign Language Rights for all: National sign languages are fundamental to achieving deaf people's human rights. We will aim to assist our member states in promoting the legal recognition of signed language in the country and advocate for early childhood language acquisition and inclusive multilingual education policies. Investing in a strong and sustainable organisation: to carry out our mission and vision we need greater investment in our secretariat and regional secretariat, expand our donor base, increase visibility and fundraising activities so that our organisation can carry on its important global work.

Founded in 2018, the ITTF Foundation was created by the International Table Tennis Federation as an independent nonprofit organization. The Foundation aims to create positive impacts through table tennis in communities worldwide. The ITTF Foundation operates through five programs to foster development through table tennis, contributing to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The team tirelessly designs and implements initiatives that promote inclusivity, education, and empowerment, ensuring that the sport becomes a catalyst for positive social change. As a nonprofit organization we collaborate closely with local project implementation partners while we assist with planning, financial support, and knowledge sharing. Additionally, we connect with the Parkinson's community globally to promote the use of table tennis for enhancing well-being and health, particularly against neurodegenerative diseases.

Protecting Environment in West China

Our mission is to empower disadvantaged children in rural China through philanthropic English education initiatives and scholarships. In rural China, school dropout rates can range between 40-50%, meaning many children never reach high school or university. Providing a quality English education can not only keep children in school and break the cycle of hardship, but also open doors to the wider world. Since 2012, I Love Learning Education Center has been dedicated to this cause.

Established in 1909, Lanzhou University is a prestigious national key comprehensive university directly administered by the Ministry of Education. It stands as one of the prominent institutions under China's "Project 985" and "Project 211." With its rich history, robust educational capabilities, and remarkable achievements, Lanzhou University has ascended to the ranks of first-class universities. Over more than a century of operation, it has nurtured numerous exceptional talents and occupies a significant strategic position within the national higher education landscape, bearing the historical responsibility for cultivating senior professionals and advancing science, technology, and culture for our nation-particularly in the western region. The development trajectory of Lanzhou University reflects both the wisdom and dedication of generations associated with it as well as the support from alumni and societal contributors. To enhance management over various types of donated funds while expanding fundraising avenues, Lanzhou University established its Donation Fund Management Committee on May 26, 2008. This committee oversees unified services and management concerning social donations received by the institution. In March 2013, following approval from China's Ministry of Civil Affairs, the Lanzhou University Education Development Foundation was officially founded as a private foundation with independent legal status under Ministry of Education supervision. Focusing on serving university development objectives, this foundation aims to strengthen collaboration with alumni across all sectors while fostering amicable cooperative relationships that actively seek additional social resources. The foundation endeavors to implement diverse initiatives systematically to create new opportunities comprehensively while promoting educational advancement at Lanzhou University. Upholding principles such as standardization, transparency, efficiency, safety, and service excellence; this Foundation manages various donations ensuring their utilization aligns fully with donor intentions alongside foundational purposes. Based on actual needs identified within campus activities-including personnel training programs; alumni engagement events; infrastructure projects; scientific research innovations; social welfare initiatives; career development funds-the Foundation seeks to invigorate university growth. Since inception, the Foundation has successfully passed annual inspections conducted by China's Ministry of Civil Affairs each year while obtaining pre-tax deduction qualifications for contributions made by public welfare organizations. In 2017,it underwent evaluation by National Social Organization Evaluation Committee under said ministry receiving an AAAA rating designation. In June2020,it achieved recognition as charitable organization granted by the Ministry of Civil Affairs. Looking ahead, taking into account support from alumni and various sectors within society, this Foundation will adhere steadfastly to its motto "self-improvement and creating a school of its own", focusing on internal development while pursuing strategies aimed at strengthening the university through human resources. The goal is to establish Lanzhou University a world-class institution with broader perspectives, more open attitudes, and greater commitment towards contributing positively to the advancement of higher education in our country.
