The Energy Act for Ukraine Foundation, established in response to the dire circumstances faced by Ukraine following the russian full-scale invasion that began on February 24, 2022, is a dedicated and impassioned organization with a clear mission: to provide vital support for Ukraine's energy infrastructure in the face of ongoing war and uncertainty. The invasion has had devastating consequences for Ukraine, and its infrastructure has been significantly impacted. The energy sector, in particular, faces constant threats, with some critical energy facilities having been destroyed and others partially damaged due to missile attacks. This has left many regions, especially those on the frontlines or in recently de-occupied areas, struggling with either no power or severely limited access. Tragically, over 12 million of Ukrainians did not have stable access to electricity during the heating season 2022/2023, a dire situation that demands immediate attention. The primary focus of the Energy Act for Ukraine Foundation is to address this pressing issue by facilitating the supply of renewable energy equipment to Ukraine. This strategic approach serves two critical purposes: energy localization and diversification of the electricity supply in Ukraine. Energy localization involves empowering local communities and institutions to generate their own power through renewable sources. By equipping schools and hospitals with solar systems, the foundation ensures that these vital facilities can function even in the face of energy disruptions caused by the ongoing conflict. This not only safeguards the well-being of the people who depend on these services but also contributes to the overall resilience of the region. In addition to the tangible impact on energy infrastructure, the foundation recognizes the importance of education and awareness in promoting sustainable development. Thus, within the scope of the school projects, the Energy Act for Ukraine Foundation takes on the dual role of educator and provider. We educate children on the principles of sustainable development, fostering a sense of responsibility and stewardship for the environment. Over the course of five years, the foundation has set an ambitious goal to equip 150 facilities with renewable energy systems. This endeavor not only addresses the immediate energy needs of communities but also lays the foundation for a more sustainable and resilient future for Ukraine. In the face of adversity and ongoing conflict, the Energy Act for Ukraine Foundation stands as a beacon of hope and practical action. Our mission to restore and fortify Ukraine's energy infrastructure through renewable energy solutions not only offers immediate relief but also paves the way for a more sustainable and self-reliant future. With dedication and a commitment to education, they are not only bringing light to the darkness but also empowering future generations to lead their country toward a brighter, more sustainable future.
Karazin University is under super-tough conditions. Kharkiv has been extremely affected by the war. Since its beginning, 25% of the University's premises have been destroyed. Not all the students could return to classrooms: some found themselves on the temporarily occupied territories, others decided to put their education on halt, and some others left Ukraine for good. But almost 85% of the student body continues their studies online from all over the world despite the difficulties and barriers. They stay with the University and they already are part of its history! To facilitate the protection of scientific, academic, and spiritual achievements of Karazin University, to preserve Ukraine's intellectual potential and to bring its victory over the Russian aggressor closer.

Our mission is to provide comprehensive assistance (psychological, educational, and mentorship) to Ukrainian children from vulnerable groups. These include wards of boarding institutions, orphans, children deprived of parental care, HIV-infected children, children from large or low-income families, internally displaced persons (IDPs), and children with psychological or physical disabilities. This support will first and foremost equalize the educational opportunities for children from vulnerable groups, allowing them to obtain decent education and, consequently, a profession, thereby reducing their risk of further marginalization. Unfortunately, current support from the Ukrainian government is insufficient and cannot meet these groups' needs. Additionally, our assistance will enable children to receive quality psychological support, helping them overcome the traumas of war as well as psychological traumas and complexes related to their backgrounds and low social status.
