The foundation works to inspire positive change across Greater Los Angeles by expanding access and opportunity for youth and vulnerable communities. The purpose and goals of Santa Barbara Outrigger Canoe Club (SBOCC) are to foster national and international outrigger canoe competition and to generate public interest and support for these activities. SBOCC is dedicated to providing its members with opportunities to race, competing at all levels of competition; from local regional races to world championships in junior, open, master and senior masters divisions. Consistent with its commitment to encourage and preserve outrigger canoe racing and to promote international competition, SBOCC actively organizes and promotes athletic and educational events and training in this traditional Hawaiian ocean sport for the benefit of the organizations members and the local community.

Educate the Children works with women and children in Nepal to improve health, welfare, and self-sufficiency by building skills that families can pass down to later generations. Focusing on the poorest of the poor by working strategically through women's groups, schools, and agriculture groups, Educate the Children develops a comprehensive community presence, gaining an extraordinary level of local participation and trust.

Programming emphasizes affordability and community access to promote health, learning, and self-sufficiency.
Turtle Wing Foundation helps individuals (especially children) with learning differences in rural communities access the services and supports they need. It connects families to educational, therapeutic, and emotional resources, provides financial assistance for sessions and programs, and partners with local providers to expand access in underserved counties.
