Girls Education Mission International was emerged out of a pressing need among young women and girls who face gender-based discrimination and are therefore deprived of education and training opportunities to attain a better life. As a non profit, non-governmental organization aim for the betterment of humanity particularly the life of the Girl child, Girls Education Mission International envisions a World where girls become Women of Integrity, Vision and Impact. We want to see girls and women creating change and making lasting impact in their respective communities. We are on a mission to reach out to and advance the circumstances of girls who are not provided with strong motivation to reach potentials. We have a global mandate to establish empowered teams of young women and girls with relevant knowledge and practical skills that will enable them transform their lives and influencing their communities for good. We are intentionally inspired to equip girls to pass forward what they have learned, becoming productive citizens and visionary leaders capable of shaping sustainable society. Thus our motto "To be Willing, Equipped and Available.." Dreamt and begun in 2007, Girls Education Mission International was officially registered in 2011 in Nigeria with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) with registration number (CAC/IT/NO 45818). It was also registered with the Special Control Unit Against Money Laundering (SCUML) of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) of the Federal Republic of Nigeria with registration number (RN:SC 321400084). Despite improvements in global and national laws and policies that provide the normative framework for women to advance their rights, it is imperative to acknowledge that a vast number of girls continue to experience violence and gender discrimination at home, in schools and in their communities especially when it comes to getting an education. As part of our smart and creative strategy to better the lives of humanity, we are committed to eradicating poverty, building peace and creating sustainable impact among young women and girls using education to achieve this aim. We believe that girls education and empowerment is the vital tool to harness innovation to improvise novel solution that are not only smart and creative but also more effective, efficient and just in achieving demonstrable results when it comes to tackling the challenges continue to face globally. GEM works directly with girls, parents, teachers, and community leaders, all of whom are the ultimate drivers and stewards of meaningful change for themselves, their families and their communities.

Mission of VOICE Trust is to increase conviction for the economically - socially - educationally disadvantaged children, women/men farmers, employed youth, Disabled Persons and other Weaker Sections that nature centric ways in life empowers and to join in ecological biodiversity enhancement, protection of environmental resources and empowerments in education, employment and sustainability spheres.

Safeplan Uganda is a youth-founded and focused organization addressing the challenges youth face in finding employment opportunities in Uganda. The organization's main purpose "is empowering young people through skills and awareness to enhance their potential in becoming responsible citizens" - in short, create sustainable jobs for young people. The organization achieves its purpose through five broad program areas: Health, Environmental Awareness, Education, Gender, and ICT (Information and Communications Technology). Mission Statement We are committed to the enhancement of holistic care and assist urban dwellers and particularly rural youth and women, their local leaders and communities through networking and partnership. VISION To ensure a sound and social economically productive society where young people and other vulnerable citizens live and deliver to their full potential. Overall Goal An enlighten and empower communities working together to build a sustainable future for all Ugandan people Description of the activities The organization is strongly community oriented; it actively engages with youths, women, community elders and church leaders to help identify youths below 30 years of age, targeting nearly all school dropouts, for its programs. Safeplan Uganda is geared towards "supplementing what the government is doing for the local youth" as it recognizes that the government is not able to fully support what the "community youth need and deserve". Safeplan's understanding that "there is a need to help the youth help themselves" has led to its programming in livelihoods skills training. There are three programs at Safeplan currently: 1 - Technical skills training (carpentry and tailoring) 2 - Energy-efficient cook stoves Promoting renewable energy products across the district 3 - Budongo Women Bee Enterprise (BUWOBE) (the Prize-winning activity) Reports & Updates 1- Technical skills training-up to 50 youths have been training in Carpentry and tailoring since 2017 with the merger resources in the organization with community support. The youths are trained locally and supported to acquire national certificate from the Directorate of Industrial Training accredited certifying body by the government of Uganda. 2- Promotion of energy efficient cooking technology-more than 500 solar lantern have been sold since 2017, 12,000 cook stoves sold to community to reduce fuel consumption. More than 1000 women trained in construction of energy cooking technology in refugee settlement camps in northern Uganda Arua District. 3-Budongo women Bee enterprise-(BUWOBE) the two time award winning project has reached more than 300 women with bee keeping skills since 2014. To date the project is empowering 30 more youths and women with skills in bee keeping, business and leadership skills in Nyantonzi village. This particular project has been made possible by YouthPower learning program PROUDLY support by the United State Agency for International Development. (USAID)

MISSION: We deliver high-quality programs designed specifically to help adolescents and rural communities thrive. Our foundation is football, sexual reproductive health and rights curriculum, and youth involvement in advocacy for policies that improve access to services. VALUES: Childhood - We allow youth to engage, have fun - smile. We provide knowledge and tools so children grow up slowly, complete their secondary education, and make good choices throughout life. Equal Opportunities - Communities are stronger when women and girls can participate equally with men and boys. Health, Water, Food, Environment Goal 31: Rest, Play, Culture, Arts INDICATORS OF IMPACT: We track our impact in alignment with six key UN SDG indicators. 3.7.1 - Proportion of women of reproductive age (aged 15-49 years) who have their need for family planning satisfied with modern methods 3.7.2 - Adolescent birth rate (aged 10-14 years; aged 15-19 years) per 1,000 women in that age group 4.1.1 - Proportion of children and young people: (a) in grades 2/3; (b) at the end of primary; and (c) at the end of lower secondary, achieving at least a minimum proficiency level in (i) reading and (ii) mathematics, by sex 5.3.1 - Proportion of women aged 20-24 years who were married or in a union before age 15 and before age 18 5.6.1 - Proportion of women aged 15-49 years who make their own informed decisions regarding sexual relations, contraceptive use and reproductive health care 5.6.2 - Number of laws and regulations that guarantee women aged 15-49 years access to sexual and reproductive healthcare, information and education
