The mission of the Dragon Divas is to demonstrate that a full and active life is possible following the diagnosis of breast cancer. The organization provides an opportunity for members to connect with other breast cancer survivors in a supportive environment to enhance their physical, emotional, and spiritual health. The Dragon Divas are dedicated to promoting the early detection of breast cancer and raising awareness in the community of the importance of physical fitness in fighting this disease. Through our message and action, the Dragon Divas honor the memory of those who have died from the disease and the blessings they have bestowed on our survivorship.

Rak'n'Roll Foundation. Wygraj Zycie! was established in 2009 as a grassroots initiative of oncology patients. From the very beginning, its goal was to change the way people with cancer and the disease itself are perceived. This change was necessary to introduce new solutions to patient care that allow them to be treated with dignity and live well and joyfully despite their illness. The aim of the Foundation is to conduct comprehensive ongoing and project activities for people affected by cancer and their families, including disabled people and their families, in the field of health protection and promotion, as well as to undertake projects aimed at increasing public awareness of cancer. The Foundation conducts free public benefit activities in the field of: Conducting information activities, including an online database with information useful for people affected by cancer and their families, including disabled people and their families; Health protection and promotion in the field of oncology and disability; Representing the interests of oncological and disabled patients; Actions to improve the availability and standards of treatment of cancer and disabilities; Supporting diagnostic, treatment and rehabilitation activities in the field of oncology and disability; Organizing and conducting social and educational campaigns, including information and preventive campaigns; Organizing and conducting recreation for children and adolescents affected by cancer and disabled people, including integration and rehabilitation trips; Conducting charitable activities for sick people and their families as well as disabled people and their families, also after the death of the sick person; Organizing support groups for sick people and their families; Promotion of employment and professional activation of people affected by cancer and disabled people who are unemployed; Engaging famous people, representatives of the media and creative circles to implement or promote the Foundation's statutory goals; Supporting and organizing volunteering.

To deliver quality healthcare to people with HIV, TB, Cancer and other health related issues through community based holistic care models.

To provide social, holistic and physical support to communities in need through improving cancer care and management for female patients and their caregivers by providing hostel accommodation to those who come from rural areas in order to receive their treatment from the Uganda Cancer Institute at Mulago Hospital. These women would otherwise have nowhere to stay in the city. In addition to hostel accommodation, Patient Relief Mission (PRM) provides three meals a day, transportation to and from the hospital, psycho-social support, and skills training for both patients and care-givers. Through these services, PRM is not only providing opportunities for the women to receive the cancer treatment they need but also equipping them to return to their homes with skills to financially support themselves and their families. The organization's services are implemented by committed and well-trained staff and volunteers.

Providing free shuttle service to children and youth with cancer from their communities to the public hospital , offering food, counseling and recreational and educational activities during their medical stay, contributing to the overall development of the patient through an optimal balance between his life and illness.

Our mission is to provide assistance to seriously ill children and their families. Every day we help seriously ill children hospitalized at the National Institute of Cancer, at the Pediatric Clinic of Neurosurgery and at the Western Ukrainian Specialized Pediatric Medical Center. In 7 years we helped for the total amount of more than 20 000 000 UAH. Almost a third of these funds were used for medicines and medical supplies. We purchased modern equipment for operating rooms and diagnostic laboratories of the hospitals. We renovated an operating room, patient rooms, a kitchen and a game room at the Pediatric Clinic for Neurosurgery, a game room at the Western Ukrainian Specialized Pediatric Medical Center, psychologists' room and physical therapy room at the National Institute of Cancer. We paid for treatment in foreign clinics for four children. We provided more than 20 families with air plane tickets for treatment abroad. Our experts work at the hospitals. We finance the work of psychologists in all the departments that we support and the work of two physiotherapists at the National Cancer Institute. Every day 5-6 families live in our Center for Children Affected by Cancer Dacha. Since opening we have provided free accommodation for about five hundred families. In 2010 we opened a representative office in Lviv which is engaged in the projects related to migration processes in Ukraine.

Fundacion Jacinto Convit (FJC) is a non-profit institution founded in June 2012 that preserves, protects and continues the work, projects, values and philosophy of the renowned scientist, physician and humanist Dr. Jacinto Convit. Inspired in the vision of social service through science, the FJC is comprised by a multidisciplinary team of professionals from the healthcare, basic, social and human sciences that develop research, social and educational programs to favor the local healthcare system, social progress and humanity in general. FJC is an independent institution that works in collaboration and alliance with public institutions, research centers, academia, multilaterals, non-profits and private organizations. Programs Research Experimental Immunotherapy Unit (EIU) Develops therapeutic options for chronic and infectious diseases based on treatments directed to the patients immune system to fight a disease. Currently develops Dr. Convit's personalized breast cancer immunotherapy, ConvitVax, a potentially safe, effective, low cost treatment option for patients. Works to advance clinical trials in the US, South America and Europe using the ConvitVax. Aims to enhance Dr. Convits personalized immunotherapy by combining the ConvitVax with other therapies to increase the anti-tumor effect of the vaccine. Molecular Diagnostic Unit (MDU) Provides a highly specialized free medical assistance service for the molecular diagnosis of malignant neoplastic diseases (such as leukemia and some solid tumors) and infectious diseases (mainly HIV). Provides a service directed to the most vulnerable pediatric and adult population in the country who attend public hospitals that are under agreement with the FJC. Works with in-house protocols based on molecular techniques and generates scientific research based on rare findings in these pathologies. Contributes to the improvement of mortality and morbidity rates in patients with some types of cancer. Seeks to extend this program to all public oncology services in Venezuela to benefit a greater number of patients, as well as to develop new diagnostic tests in cancer. For certain tests, the FJC has become a Latin American reference, since it is the first molecular diagnostic laboratory in the region evaluating certain gene alterations based on these techniques. Educational Jacinto Convit Digital Library Develops a virtual library specialized in the works of Dr. Jacinto Convit in order to recover, preserve, and facilitate the access to bibliographic and hemerographic work, as well as all that is produced by or about him. Serves to support the programs executed by FJC by providing its resources and documents to the general, therefore contributing to the academic and social development of the country. Values through Science Brings the life, work and achievements of Dr. Jacinto Convit, and the work performed by the FJC, to educational institutions, communities, public and private institutions, congresses and events. Gives lectures, informative talks, film forums, presentation of documentaries, publication of educational materials and recreational activities. Mission: Palliative Care Network is dedicated to alleviating the suffering of patients who are combating serious illnesses through open access education for professionals worldwide. Vision: Palliative Care for Everyone, Everywhere Chronic diseases are the leading cause of mortality in the world, representing 60% of all deaths. 35 million people died from chronic disease in 2005. These include heart disease, stroke, cancer, chronic respiratory diseases and diabetes. 80% of chronic disease deaths occur in low and middle income countries (1). Healthcare professionals lack appropriate training to care for patients as a "whole" and, in particular, fall short in skills to care for patients with diseases with poor prognosis. Quite often, patients receive poor end-of-life care, even in societies with technologically advanced healthcare. Ultimately, patients experience unnecessary pain and suffering during treatment of disease and at the end-of-life. Palliative Care Network (PCN) aims to address pain and suffering more effectively through education. PCN provides a FREE, online, educational platform for palliative care professionals. Registration on the website and access to materials remains free of charge allowing those who have limitations to remain abreast of palliative care trends. Expert interviews, lectures, presentations, posters, etc. are voluntarily shared on the PCN Community. Participants from Harvard share the same platform with palliative care providers from developing countries in Africa, landlocked Nepal and Mongolia, etc. PCN evens out the platform for palliative care professionals worldwide. The multiple projects initiated by PCN not only help the professional community in assisting patients and their families but allow palliative care providers to encourage each other. The PCN Directory lists professionals from around the globe interested in collaborating to exchange knowledge and information. For example, using the PCN Directory, an Indian physician connected with an American social worker to share cultural issues, myths, and norms about palliative care, grief, and loss. Additional success stories include collaborations with a professor of sociology, nurse, and a producer/director.
