Education For All (EFA) believes that education a basic human right, and that educated girls educate the next generation. EFA focuses on girls from rural, remote areas of Morocco's High Atlas region who are missing out on secondary education due to living too far away from schools and being too poor to afford transport. EFA was founded in 2007 to respond to the high levels of illiteracy (estimated at 70%) amongst girls in the most deprived and remote areas of the High Atlas Mountains in Morocco. Instead of going to school, girls were staying home, doing domestic chores, marrying young and remaining in the cycle of poverty with limited choices in life. The 3 main obstacles for girls in rural Morocco to access school are Their villages are too far away from the secondary schools Their families are too poor to afford the travel costs There is low awareness of and value for educating girls THE SIMPLE SOLUTION EFA builds and runs safe and well equipped girls' boarding houses. We currently accommodate 250 girls in 6 houses, from the ages of 12-18 yrs. The EFA houses are a 'home away from home'. They are staffed by local women which helps to create an environment where their culture is respected and trust is built with the local community. They have 3 nutritious meals a day, hot showers, computer rooms and plenty of books and learning support. We also run an international volunteer programme to support the girls in their studies and activities which broaden their horizons. OR $85 per month or $1000 per year. IMPACT The short-term impact of EFA's work is that many girls now have the opportunity to go to school who otherwise would be at home. Since 2007 we have given access to a full secondary education for 370 girls. These girls are now young women want to become lawyers, scientists, teachers and entrepreneurs! We now have over 130 girls enrolled at University since 2013, with two now studying their Master's Degrees, 3 on full university scholarships and one who just graduated to become a Biology teacher. The longer-term impact is that these young women will be able to become financially independent, contribute to the workforce and economy and have more choice and voice in their families and society, ensuring progressive equality for future generations. They have also inspired a positive shift in attitudes in their communities towards educating girls, and are strong role models to their sisters and friends, demonstrating what is possible for them and how to realise their potential through education.

PIDO's Background People's Initiative Development Organization (PIDO) was first founded under the name WUNDA "Western Upper Nile Development Action" in 2005 and legally registered in the year 2009. Due to nation-wide demand, the Organization expanded in its strategic objectives and geographical coverage in the Republic of South Sudan and beyond. 1.2 Mission Promote a culture of sound governance and expand socio-economic development. Thus PIDO is an agent for change, promotion of the culture for sound governance and soci-economic development. PIDO adopts community participatory approaches to mobilize and sensitize for gender equality for men and women in order to part take in peace building and mediating conflict resolution. 1.3 Vision Stable, thriving, equal, democratic and inclusive culture for all society in South Sudan. PIDO's vision of gender equality, as a core value, aims at the elimination of discrimination against women and girls. PIDO intends to empower women to achieve equal partnership and benefits of development, human rights protection and to see stable thriving, democratic and inclusive South Sudan. 1.4 GOAL The restoration of human livelihood in the devastated regions. 1.5 Objectives The strategic objectives of PIDO are to: Promote peaceful civic actions as a response to the threats of war and human rights abuses; Support dialogue, nation building, and peace dissemination as the best strategy for conflict resolution among the people; Enhance democracy and good governance at local, state and national levels to ensure legitimacy of Governors and accountability to the governed Advocate for the promotion of human rights, democratic rights of vulnerable and disadvantage group in the society; Transform the country into a knowledge -based middle-income country, thereby reducing poverty, and health problems and build a united democratic nation ; and Partner with NGOs, interest groups and individuals with the common aim of seeking solutions to South Sudan's developmental and governance challenges. INTRODUCTION Promise Giving Organization is a non-profit making organization situated in Nairobi Kenya. It is registered with the Ministry of East Africa Community, Labour and social protection department of social development and heritage as a charitable Institution. Promise Giving Organization takes care of the abandoned, orphaned, the neglected and whose rights have been violated. Formed in July 2019 out of a desire to support, restore, empowering and bringing hope to children, vulnerable women and youth affected by wars, sexual violence, sexual exploitation and abuse, victim survived of torture and deprived of human rights. Our priority is to investing in people, and we are committed to giving assistance to those in need regardless of religion, race, nationality or gender. Our vision is to help the Community especially women and children and the displaced people affected by wars, famine, disease, ignorance, violence, poverty or privates of human rights positively reshaped and restore. We specifically focus to support the affected children, the poor and marginalized and the displaced people through our crosscutting programs by providing Education; healthcare; human right and protection advocacy; Community development programs; social assistance; and volunteer program. Our being is to help the affected women and children to integrate in the community and aspire for a better future, to support technically the feminine development initiative actions and projects. Also, to network and partner with other organizations, NGOs (Non- Governmental Organizations), CBOs (Community Based Organization). Associations and individuals to provide support effective intervention, training and assistance. Promise Giving Organization is more engaged in the services of supporting, restoring and bringing hope to women and children and our desire is that we address their suffering in appropriate and caring manner. CORE VALUES Integrity Leadership Service Accountability Transparency Love Respect Unity Teamwork PROJECT SUMMARY In spite of planned development and special provision for accelerated socio-economic development of neglected/disadvantaged sections, the issue of orphan, semi orphan and street children is not properly addressed. In our project area many Orphan, Semi Orphan and Street Children are found. The problem of orphan / street children is acute due to urbanization and industrialization. Due to the Deaths of HIV/AIDS affected persons, Re-marriage of Deserted / Widowed / Divorce women, Absence of love and security in the families, Family disputes, Unwanted pregnancy of Trafficking / Sexually exploited girls; these orphan and street children are left without care and support. These children are involved in rag picking; pick pocketing and participating in anti social, criminal activities. Therefore, we envisage mainstreaming these children in the national building by providing care, support and protection in our Promise Giving Children's Family. Promise Giving Children's Family houses orphans and vulnerable children and needy families and provides care support and protection for them. This home has 10 workers among them cooks, cleaners, teachers, caretakers and administrators. All children are provided with 3 times nutritious food, clean water, books, school uniforms, clothing, beddings, sanitary pads, diapers, water, soap detergents and shoes as well as psychological and spiritual support. Every child has an opportunity for indoor and outdoor recreation and play facilities. We also support them to realize their potentials, careers and talents so as to become self-reliant and responsible members of the society. We as Promise Giving Children's Family aim to bring a service of hope to the needy and vulnerable children and families in the community. PROBLEM STATEMENT The problem of the orphaned, needy and vulnerable children is acute due to poverty levels in our communities thus most families are unable to afford basic needs for their children. There is also an increase of children who are affected and infected with HIV/AIDS while others have been orphaned as a result of the deaths of AIDS affected persons. The situation is also further aggravated by the absence of love and security and unwanted pregnancy of sexually exploited girls conflict, social injustices, gender violence etc. These children are involved in rag picking, pick pocketing, participating in anti-social, criminal activities. FUTURE MAJOR VISION We are aspiring to have our own compound where we don't pay the rent and if possible, to expand from the ordinary home to group of schools where our children will get opportunity to be at the orphanage and proceed to our junior school, senior school up to the highest level possible. The center will also ensure that all the beneficiaries who have completed school/college will have a placement, this shall include vulnerable children who have completed the vocational training hence they will be provided by the working capital inform of tools and materials to start off. CONCLUSION Children symbolizes the continuation of generation; it shows that when they are well motivated and protected our future becomes brighter. When they are nurtured in the best way the world shall be better place to live in. This is why we come with lots of humility to you to help us fulfill the idea of the project above so that we can help the children to realize their dreams in different ways. We need the children to be cared for at all cost no matter the background where that child comes and that is why whenever the county officer knocked the door to bring in a child into our premises, we always receive them with open heart and love.

The mission of OBLF is to bring basic English comprehension and Computer skills to children attending the mass schooling system in India, to provide them an equal opportunity to gain meaningful employment on reaching adulthood. The foundation works as a partner to the state government and adopts state run/public elementary schools in India. In a country with a billion plus population about 70% of 200 million children who are in elementary schools attend public schools. Reports have told us year on year about the massive learning deficit in the public schooling system. Some of the issues this system is plagued with are poor content, teacher absenteeism, learning by rote and very poor teacher ratios. The foundation uses the existing infrastructure of public schools mainly in remote rural areas. The children in the adopted schools are divided into levels/groups based on their English skills (and not according to age). The foundation has designed its own child friendly syllabi for each level and uses laptops and tablets (technologies these children have never been exposed to) and other fun filled teaching techniques to teach. The foundation's strategy is to train and employ semi-educated rural women on a part time basis (this doesn't disturb the rural ethos) to teach in the adopted schools. These women whom we call coordinators are mainly homemakers and live in the rural communities where the adopted schools are. Every adopted school has several children divided into three levels (Junior, Middle and Senior), a few coordinators to do the teaching and urban volunteers who take ownership of the school and mentor the coordinators and supervise the work being done in the school. Children undergo baseline assessments at the beginning of the school year and then another assessment at the end of an academic year. We also assess a small number of children who attend the schools but are not in the foundation's School Adoption Program. Children who are in the program have consistently performed way better than the ones in the control group.

LEGIBE, is a registered non-profit NGO, founded in May 2022 to empower vulnerable girls and teenage mothers in our community on the shores of Lake Victoria in Mukono District. Our vision is to improve the quality of life for vulnerable girls and teenage mothers in our community through our programs, as listed below: 1. Mental Health: The vulnerability of our community girls gives them stories to tell. Many of them have experienced rape, domestic violence, sexual abuse, family rejection, being orphaned, poverty, and diseases, eg, HIV/AIDS. Through our Mental Health program, we strive to support vulnerable girls and teenage mothers in our community by providing counseling after they share their stories. We regularly conduct counseling sessions, inviting counselors and women activists to speak with the girls, and encourage them to leave their past challenges and focus on their new life and what they want to become in the future. Through this program, their hope is restored, and they feel at home in their new life. 2. Music, Dance, and Drama (MDD): Through Music performances, Let The Girl Be-Uganda, helps to create a platform for girls and young mothers in the community to tell stories, share experiences, and create performances about our community's pressing challenges, like the girl-child education, diseases associated with poor sanitation, family planning, etc. These performances, therefore, act as a mobilizing tool to identify these community issues for awareness campaigns and prevention strategies. 3. Community Outreach Program: This program aims to work in partnership with the community members, especially local leaders and mothers/ guardians of the girls. We reach out to them regularly for sensitization and awareness creation about major issues affecting women and girls in our community. 4. In the Self-Sustenance program, girls learn sewing, knitting, and other skills that will enable them to have an income and become economically independent. The Education Program helps girls attend school. This program is currently paused.

Books and Bread for Kenya has been a registered non profit making charity since 2008. Our mission is to provide healthcare, promoting learning and alleviating poverty in Kenya. Books and Bread for Kenya currently support two orphanages, a rescue centre for abused and neglected women and children, three Kenyan village communities and a hospital. Together with our trusted volunteers BBK works tirelessly to improve the basic conditions and empower many individuals. Books and Bread for Kenya has built kitchens and supplied poly tunnels, seed and livestock so communities may nurture the land. Basic and emergency healthcare has been provided from child birthing equipment to limb amputation and the removal of parasites in the feet of an entire village community. Libraries have been filled with books, schools equipped with pens, pencils etc. and education paid for the poorest of children, from primary through to university graduates.

Fast Rural Development Program (FRDP) is a nonprofit and nongovernmental organization registered under the societies Act XXI of 1860, working in the underprivileged areas of Sindh, Pakistan since 2007. The Program is aimed at facilitating the disadvantaged communities in a way that they could be empowered to secure their rights with command over the resources and capabilities to manage the process of sustainable development. FRDP is involved with overall integrated development but its major focus is to promote Water and Sanitation, Health & Hygiene, Emergency Relief, improve Education, SRHR, MNCH, Poverty Alleviation, Promotion of Human Rights (especially the rights of women, children indigenous groups and persons with disabilities), Peace Building and Good Governance. FRDP has well educated, experienced and committed members on its board. FRDP is known for its highly qualified, motivated and experienced staff, quality work, transparent systems and excellent perception among the communities, government and other relevant stakeholders at provincial, national and international level. FRDP has implemented a wide range of projects with its national and international partners including government in the fields as mentioned above. The aim is to help the communauty to reunite after being torn apart due to the conflict. Moreover, the aim is to promote a reintegration based on sustainable, social and economical values. The Centro COMParte participates to the reintegration of a population in a post-conflict situation throughout education, culture and entrepeneurship. The Centro COMParte is open everyday for the children and give them a complementary to school : the mission is to give them an education around peace as they all come from families that directly lived the conflict. Furthermore, working with the adults allows to create nexus around the community and to make people know one another and work and learn together is the best way to connect and make peace. Finally, the Centro COMParte promote the recognition of the women work and fight against low incomes. Sembrando Confianza has developped a great network of local producers and allow them to be more sustainable and to learn how to product organically. The social market created by SC allow consumers to be more sensibilized with local and organic products.

To promote empowerment programs for better Health, Education and Livelihoods for disadvantaged populations. ................................................................................................... Here are some key areas where we seek partnership and support: 1. Education for Needy Children: We run programs that provide access to quality education for underprivileged children, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to thrive in their academic pursuits. We provide fees, scholastic materials, uniforms and shoes to the disadvantaged children. We plan to fundraise, get fees and educational materials for needy children dropping out of school over poverty and abandonment. We plan to purchase land for the construction of a primary school for these children. 2. Women and Youth Empowerment: Our organization offers empowerment workshops, financial literacy trainings, and support services to help women and youth in marginalized communities achieve economic independence and self-sustainability. We are planning to establish a vocational training school for children who complete senior four and senior six and are unable to continue with the education over finances. We also plan to scale up our financial literacy training programs and train women in vegetable growing. 3. Environmental Conservation: We are actively involved in conservation efforts, including tree planting, waste management, and sustainable agriculture practices to preserve and protect our environment for future generations. Uganda was named the Pearl of Africa because of the beautiful scenery and climate but the forests and vegetation cover have reduced due to environmental degradation and the temperatures are now raising. We plan to establish nursery beds and plant one million trees in the eight districts of Rwenzori Western Uganda. We are doing this under our Greening Uganda Schools and communities Project. 4. Human Rights Advocacy: PLATFORM for the NEEDY advocates for the rights of vulnerable populations, including refugees, internally displaced persons, and marginalized groups, to ensure their voices are heard and respected. We plan to advance our advocacy to the deeper rural populations and refugees and take there our outreach counselling and training conferences and educate them with live drama episodes. 5. Maternal Health Initiatives: We have ongoing programs focused on improving maternal health outcomes through access to healthcare services, prenatal care, and maternal education. We intend to fundraise for the stunting children in Rwenzori region .Under this project we shall create more awareness using radio drama, social media, TVs, trainings and conferences for local leaders and health workers at all level, establish demonstration vegetable gardens at every household and every school and school debating competitions.
