THE BLINDNESS FOUNDATION works in Burma/Myanmar,Cambodia, Laos, the Philippines & Thailand. Our mission is: "HELP US,HELP OTHERS, HELP THEMSELVES" -working with local eye Doctors in these SE Asian countries to help prevent & cure blindness. This is achieved through education, training and mission supply for outreach cataract surgery programs to the rural & urban poor . To date for example we have over the last two decades, contributed lens implants that have been implanted in over 65,000 patients' eyes to help them see again -curing their blindness. Ongoing training and education, upgrades the knowledge and skill -sets of young Eye Doctors in training so that they can treat their own people better, without reliance on outside Ophthalmologists. This builds their health care systems closer to modern world standards. We respond to specific requests for assistance in placing young Eye Doctors in residency & Fellowship programs out of country , Also supply of anti-fungals for the Burmese fishermen with corneal infections after the Nargis Cyclone hit the Irawaddy delta region of Myanmar. Our goal is sustainable self-sufficiency for eye care in these developing nations. We have annual missions that incorporate training & lectures at university based teaching hospitals where possible to assist their development. During these missions we process requests for equipment, traing and supplies and coordinate with industry in the US to raise supplies. The Fred Hollows Foundation is a international development organisation working to restore sight to people who are blind or vision impaired. Globally there are 1.1 billion people who are blind or vision impaired. 90% of these cases are preventable or avoidable. Based on love and compassion of Christianity, Heart to Heart Foundation serves children and families suffering from poverty, disabilities and diseases to empower them and to create "Inclusive Society" for all. Heart to Heart Foundation aims to create inclusive society for all by preventing avoidable disability and achieving social integration of the people with disability. In Korea, where the Foundation's headquarter is located, the foundation promotes capacity building for the people with disability through encouraging full social participation and increasing education opportunities tailored to their needs. At the same time, Heart to Heart Foundation is the leading organization in raising awareness about the abilities of people with development disabilities. Internationally, the Foundation is devoted to preventing avoidable blindness in the developing countries and increasing the sustainability of the comprehensive eye health system in those countries by increasing the capacity of the heath care and non-healthcare professionals in partnership with local governments and various civil society partners. Activities for achieving the purpose of the Foundation as follows: Domestically/Nationally - 1) project for supporting the medical expenses for achieving the purpose of the Foundation and supporting the self-reliance of the low-income group, 2) project for promoting child welfare, welfare for the disabled, and family welfare, 3) other projects necessary to achieve the purpose of the Foundation Internationally/Globally - 1) health and educational support projects for the poor, disabled and neglected children, 2) projects for the development and welfare promotion of the area to support, 3) education of volunteer, sponsors, and members, 4) PR activities and print production through various media, 5) other projects necessary to achieve the purpose of the Foundation In 1988, Heart-Heart Foundation took the first step as an organization to carry out professional social welfare projects to support children and their families marginalized and suffering from poverty, disability, and disease, and contribute to improving the quality of life. Promoting local social welfare, the General Social Welfare Center was opened in September 1991, and for 10 years, various welfare programs were implemented to reflect the needs of children, youth, the disabled, and the elderly. We developed a unique area of welfare service by actively reflecting the changing social environment and changes in the needs of the local community, expanding medical expenses support in areas requiring special attention in connection with national general hospitals, and the first orchestra with developmental disabilities and blindness in Korea. We started overseas support projects in 2006 to support health, nutrition, and education for the vulnerable not only in Korea but also in developing countries. Since 2009, we have started eye health projects in underdeveloped countries, and as a regular member of the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB), we are able to develop a better future by improving their quality of life and providing various opportunities by carrying out various and integrated blindness prevention activities at home and abroad. The development of the field of vocational rehabilitation through music activities for the developmentally disabled and the improvement education for the disabled in the participatory type presented new possibilities for the social integration of the developmentally disabled people and improved the expertise of overseas eye health projects through connection with international organizations. Projects are expanding to the disease eradication and water-related disease.

By realizing its goals, the Association promotes basic human rights and the quality of life of blind and other disabled people, as well as children with developmental difficulties, creating conditions for their social inclusion in the community. The Association's mission is to raise society's awareness of the rights, possibilities and needs of people with disabilities, which contributes to the senzibilization of the community and the increase of the number of independent people, through improving their mobility and quality of everyday life. The association bases its work with individuals, informal groups and non-profit organizations, the business sector, local, regional and state authorities on the principles of empowerment, self-help, education, active involvement, launching positive initiatives, encouraging cooperation, mutual respect and respect for diversity, creating a sustainable model of organizational development civil society. It encourages and develops the self-advocacy role of its members in the promotion of human rights in the context of the implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, legal regulations and national strategic documents. It provides mechanisms for the application of prescribed standards and criteria for the work of users with their assigned assistance dogs.

Project Prakash is a dual-mission humanitarian and scientific organization focused on identifying, screening and providing vision services to children with curable blindness in India. Over the years, Project Prakash has screened 43,000 children, provided eye care to 1,500 and performed surgeries on 476.

'U Nine Change' is as international NGO(NPO) to active medical and education projects mainly and to give the right to happiness for all children, preferentially disadvantaged children, of the world by changing and improving their lives through treatment and support for those in the blind spots around the world since 2014 in South Korea. We have 9 participation projects. these are medical sponsorship, free clinic support, burn therapy and prevention program, international medical volunteer dispatch, education support fund, educational facility support, playground installation, regional development and emergency relief business. Our motto is "If you need someone, we will be by your side."
