We are a non-governmental development organization constituted on July 14, 1983 as the social arm of the Lutheran church in Peru. We are men and women who, motivated by our faith, work with families in situations of economic, social and environmental vulnerability, in order to create the right conditions for a dignified life. Since our creation, we have dedicated our commitment and effort to the promotion of territorial development with a focus on sustainable human development, promoting healthy housing, with emphasis on education, health and nutrition, facilitating processes that contribute to economic and social development, with a focus on rights, gender and interculturality.

Earth Law Center works to transform the law to recognize and protect nature’s inherent rights to exist, thrive and evolve. We do this by building a force of advocates for nature's rights at local and international levels. Our initiatives aim to secure legal rights for rivers, oceans, coastal and land ecosystems.

The L.M. Montgomery Land Trust works to preserve this land from development by: - Raising money to purchase “development rights” from land owners. - Seeking the donations of “development rights” from land owners. - Purchasing and then reselling land, with restrictive covenants attached.

The Grand Manan Whale & Seabird Research Station (GMWSRS) is a registered charity incorporated in 1981 by its founder, the late Dr. David Gaskin. We are dedicated to research and education which promote conservation of the marine environment. Our researchers study seabirds and marine mammals in the lower Bay of Fundy; and develop & deliver education and stewardship programs through a natural history museum, invited lectures, publications, specific projects, a website and outdoor exhibits. YWCA Cambridge is a multi-service agency focusing its programs and services on women and their families in the following areas: Licensed child care, Summer day camp, Women's employment (Small Steps to Success), YWCA Week Without Violence (Power of Being a Girl Conference), Women of Distinction, Community Awareness and Education Programs(International Women's Day, Take Back the Night, December 6 Coalition, Women's Safety Audit Program), Girl's Programming (Body Image and Self-Esteem Workshops, Internet Safety), Social Action and advocacy on issues that impact women and girls.

Hope Without Borders is an independent, non-discriminatory humanitarian aid organization created to promote humanitarian aid - with the simple wish of helping those in need. It is a registered Canadian Charity and has no religious affiliation. "Many people around the world are suffering; women are physically and verbally abused; families are living through poverty without hope - and they all need help. We should not let borders limit our will to give support. We believe it is the duty of each of us to contribute to the improvement of all human rights around the world." Hope Without Borders. Current active projects we support: 1) Shelter for abused women and children in Lebanon 2) Orphanage for 45 children in Mwanza, Tanzania

We strive to build & strengthen the capacity of the communities and empower the people particularly poor, marginalized and excluded to address their development needs through integration and coordination at local, provincial and national level. Objectives: 1. Conflict Resolution and Promotion of Peace & tolerance in the society 2. Empower deprived segments of society Women, Minorities, Children, Laborer and peasants to secure their basic rights. 3. To work for Climate Resilient society Approach: A participatory approach is followed towards socio- economic and political development of communities. Local knowledge and wisdom is on priority basis and sense of ownership is promoted among the target communities. STRATEGIES: SDA has implemented integrated strategy for the development and empowerment of deprived communities.
