Michigan LCV Education Fund works to protect the air, land, and water in communities all across Michigan by engaging, convening, and educating decision-makers and voters to fight for an environment that sustains the health and well-being of us all.

STEPS FORWARD is a non-profit Society located in Vancouver B.C. The mandate of Steps Forward is to set up and facilitate inclusive post-secondary education in British Columbia for persons with intellectual disabilities. Inclusive post-secondary education means persons with intellectual disabilities attend regular classes at colleges or university and participate in the usual activities of campus life. The Community Education Development Association (CEDA) is a non-profit inner city community development organization that was established in 1979. CEDA strives to meet the educational needs of our community, focusing on advocacy and programming that addresses the inadequacies of the education system in serving the members of our community. We recognize that these inadequacies exist within a larger context of social and economic inequality as well as both societal and institutionalized racism and we are committed to raising awareness of this context both within and beyond the community that we serve.

The CTLCV Education Fund helps instruct legislators, town officials, media, students and teachers on critical environmental issues and involve them in crafting public policy.

COMMUNITY HEALTH, HOUSING AND SOCIAL EDUCATION (CHHASE), TAMIL NADU Background Community health, housing and social education (CHHASE) NGO is involved in social work for Scheduled castes, Scheduled tribes, other backwards classes and under privileged. Team of youth, who have passion in social service and compassion towards the sufferings of the disadvantaged sections of the society, came together and formed CHHASE. Our team have clear insight in the socio-economic, education, health and environment issues faced by the downtrodden, under privileged and marginalized segments of the communities. CHHASE NGO India is a non-governmental, non-profit, social service voluntary organization working for an integrated development of women and children of downtrodden segment of the society. CHHASE NGO believes that all human beings are equal and has the right to have good health, shelter, food and minimum standard of living. CHHASE NGO has touched new heights by Regular Activities to fulfil the mission of organization. Our executive committee oversees all the organization's efforts. The committee meets regularly to ensure that all of our teams perform efficiently and to facilitate cross-functional connections. CHHASE NGO have excellent staff, volunteers & members, who are dedicated, are available for any social cause (s) always. They are our real strength to carry the noble cause of uplifting the downtrodden. CHHASE NGO was registered in the year 2001 under TN Societies Registration Act, 25 of 1976. It is also registered under the FCRA, 12A & 80G of Income Tax Exemption Act, 1961. CHHASE NGO is completed due diligence norms and listed with CREDIBILITY ALLIANCE, & GUIDE STAR INDIA. CHHASE NGO has been collaborating with foreign donor agencies, corporate, national donor agencies both governmental and non-governmental towards making meaningful interventions for the cause of poor and needy sections of the society.

Our Vision is that our students will thrive in a global community while nurturing the call to love and serve others. All funds raised through the Education Foundation are allocated back to: -Essential Pieces Hands Up Award -Student Scholarships -Special Project Funding -Grande Prairie Schools Snack Program - Avondale, Hillside and St. Clement Schools

Salthaven Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Centre located in Mount Brydges, Ontario is actively involved in serving Canadians providing both wild animal care and public education. Over 850 animals and birds are admitted annually including Bald Eagles, Chimney Swifts, Eastern Fox Snakes and Peregrine Falcons all presently listed as an Animal of Special Concern as outlined by the Ministry of Natural Resources Species at Risk in Ontario (SARO) List. Salthaven is licensed by the Canadian Wildlife Service and the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources (OMNR). It is a challenge to meet the costs of food, housing, medical supplies and veterinary services each year. Efforts are ongoing to raise funds to accomodate over 4000 calls for help every year. Although licensed by the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources, the centre relies on a team of 100 volunteers, donations and philanthropy to provide care for sick, injured or orphaned wildlife.

Tree Research and Education Endowment Fund (TREE Fund) is shaping the future of trees and the arboriculture profession. Established in 2002 via a merger of the International Society of Arboriculture Research Trust and the National Arborist Foundation, TREE Fund has awarded more than $4.4 million in grants toward its mission of identifying and funding programs that support the discovery and dissemination of new knowledge in arboriculture and urban forestry.
