Charity Centre for Children and Youth Development exists to supporting HIV/AIDS education, Persons living with disabilities, orphans and vulnerable children, youth and women in Solwezi district of Zambia by providing them with, educational support (provision of school requisites and literacy materials), health and life skills and vocational Training. These enables disadvantaged members of our society live life of independence and contribute to the national economy. We envision a society that will work towards eradication of vulnerability and illiteracy among Orphans and vulnerable children, youths and women. The Organization's mission is to promote and enhance the capabilities of children, youth and women in Solwezi district and beyond to effect positive social change that would necessitate the development of their lives, communities and the nation at large.

Poverty alleviation for Orphans and Vulnerable Children remains the key priority action area for Ainembabazi as an organization. Poverty however is more than just increasing income for community members. Fundamentally poverty is about lack of choice – when it comes to education, food, health and other basic human needs and rights. This lack of choice in basic human rights contributes to a lack of hope for the future. It leaves people in basic survival mode and in a vicious cycle of poverty. The programming of Ainembabazi is thus focused on the three critical priority areas of income generation, health and education as the fundamental holistic components to promoting healthy individuals and communities with a choice for their future. Ainembabazi is about creating and supporting those choices and opportunities.

Public Citizen Foundation is the 501(c)(3) arm of Public Citizen that advances consumer protection, government accountability, and public-interest policy through research, public education, and litigation. Its work focuses on making government and corporations more accountable, protecting health and safety, and defending consumers’ rights.

Change for Children partners with communities in Latin America and Africa who are struggling against poverty and injustice to improve access to basic needs, healthcare and education. Our development projects, their cost and priority, are determined by our Southern partners according to the current needs of their communities. Change for Children is about social change. Because democracies rely upon a well-educated citizenry, CCLET’s mission is to engage Canadians in developing the habits they need to participate in the democratic process. Among the outreach programmes of the Canadian Civil Liberties Trust are Civil Liberties in the Schools and Teaching Civil Liberties. These programs focus on getting students to ask critical questions about their rights and freedoms. By shining the light of inquiry on unfairness, we begin the process of change. Through CCLET guest speakers, conferences, and workshops for schools and community organizations, participants are engaged in lively discussions about their rights and freedoms and the important legal and civil liberties issues created by a pluralistic society. Particular emphasis is on providing programmes for student teachers, and high school law and social studies students.

We affirm a person's right to control their body and work to ensure that all people have access to quality medical care, regardless of their economic situation. Work with local medical providers, we provide compassionate and empowering assistance to patients seeking abortions who are unable to fully fund their abortion, and distribute pledges as available.

Charleston Waterkeeper's mission is to protect and restore Charleston's waterways for our community and for future generations. We do this through our data-driven programs, advocacy campaigns, and promoting wise stewardship decisions through education and outreach activities. Our overarching goal is to protect the public's fundamental right clean, healthy water.
