The Canadian Space Society (CSS) is a national non-profit organization, a registered charity, and is made up of professionals and enthusiasts pursuing the human exploration and development of the Solar System and beyond. Its principal objective is to stimulate the Canadian space industry through its technical and outreach projects and promote the involvement of Canadians in the development of space. With many of Canada's top space professionals on board, the CSS is made up of people of all backgrounds and interests, including teachers, environmentalists, writers, and marketers. Our principal objective is to sponsor and promote the involvement of Canadians in the development of space.

Since 1988, the Festival has been part of the cultural and social ecology of the province. We are the only international and multi-disciplinary performing arts festival dedicated to the children in Saskatchewan, and we believe that creative, diverse and culturally aware communities don't happen by accident. A tolerant and vibrant society ready to face the challenges of the future results from planting seeds of inspiration, nurturing through participating and fun, and creating space for ideas to take root and reach for the sun. Imagination grows strong when we feed it the right stuff --- the confidence to try something new, the perspective to see something in a fresh way, the compassion to connect with those in a different situation.

Integration Action for Inclusion in Education and Community (Ontario) is an action-oriented association, parent support group consisting of parents, educators and concerned citizens, who are advocates for the inclusion of all children in their neighbourhood schools and in the community. We believe that all children have the right to a quality education that will prepare them for a full and productive life in the community. It is our belief that the best way to prepare children who need extra support is to educate them alongside their peers. This is achieved through individualized programming and supports for all children. Successful inclusion of a child needing extra support benefits not only the child, but also his or her friends and peers, the education system and society as a whole.

Our mission is to aid and support children suffering from poverty, sickness, lack of education or who have experienced physical or moral violence, by offering them the opportunity and the hope of a new life. It is an independent, lay organisation and is also designated an ONLUS (Non-profit organisation of social value). It operates without discrimination of culture, ethnicity and religion and upholds the United Nations rights of the child. The Foundation works around the world and is closest to the weakest and most neglected children offering them food, medicine, health care, education and programmes for social reintegration. In pursuing its goal, Mission Bambini is inspired by the following values: freedom, justice, truth, respect for others and solidarity.

At the Center for Biological Diversity, we believe that the welfare of human beings is deeply linked to nature — to the existence in our world of a vast diversity of wild animals and plants. Because diversity has intrinsic value, and because its loss impoverishes society, we work to secure a future for all species, great and small, hovering on the brink of extinction. We do so through science, law and creative media, with a focus on protecting the lands, waters and climate that species need to survive. We want those who come after us to inherit a world where the wild is still alive.

ADRA operates worldwide in approximately 134 countries. ADRA seeks to identify and address social injustice and deprivation in developing countries. ADRA invests in the potential of individuals through community development initiatives targeting Food Security, Economic Development, Primary Health and Basic Education. ADRA's emergency management initiatives provide aid to disaster survivors. ADRA recognizes the dignity that is inherent in each person and is committed to improving the quality of human life. It serves people without regard to their ethnic, political, or religious association. It helps those in need, especially those most vulnerable, such as women and children.

Indigenous Health Solutions is a trans-disciplinary collective of pioneers driven by a passion for service to the Earth, and the poorest and most remote communities on it. Through the lens of planetary health, where shifts in natural systems are prioritized in examination of human health, experts in conservation, health, anthropology, and business come together with those in need to craft and implement culturally informed and community led solutions for development. Our programs are built upon the foundational principle that development must be indigenous, that is, planned in partnership with those in need and rooted in the place of delivery, reflecting practical awareness of the interconnection between health, conservation, livelihood, and education.

The Saskatchewan Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Saskatchewan SPCA) is a registered charity dedicated to the welfare of animals. We encourage the humane treatment of animals through the education of owners and caregivers and the enforcement of animal protection legislation. Funded in part by the Ministry of Agriculture, we investigate and resolve reports of animal cruelty throughout the province. Our Animal Protection Officers provide guidance and education on responsible animal husbandry practices for both pets and livestock. The Saskatchewan SPCA operates with the support of our members, donors and volunteers, as well as the many concerned citizens who report suspected animal abuse and neglect.

YCS Organizational Goals: ADVOCACY: to advocate for policies, legislation, process and actions which support the conservation of the Yukon’s natural resources and protection of the Yukon’s ecosystems. EDUCATION: to promote and enhance awareness, appreciation, and understanding of the Yukon’s ecosystems and support behaviour and practices which lead to conservation and preservation in the Yukon and beyond. RESEARCH: To undertake research in support of Yukon Conservation Society activities, in particular on topics where a unique contribution can be made or alternative solutions can be developed or demonstrated. INTERNAL ORGANIZATION: To build and maintain a strong territory-wide organization that is efficient, effective, and responsive to Yukon ecological and human conditions.

The Fort McMurray Society for the prevention of Cruelty to Animals provides care and a safe haven for more than 1000 homeless, abused and abandoned animals annually within the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo. The FMSPCA was the first and remains the only not for profit, no-kill animal advocacy organization working in the region since being founded in 1978. Our goal is to ensure every companion animal in the Wood Buffalo community is humanely treated through protection, proper care, public awareness and education. Our comprehensive adoption process and community involvement facilitates lasting bonds and relationships for companion animals, pet owners and the public.

The Ann & Sandy Cross Conservation Area is a 4800 acre day use natural area located just south west of the city of Calgary in Alberta, Canada. The conservation area is dedicated to protecting habitat and providing space for native species of wildlife; offering conservation education programs (particularly to young people) without jeopardizing wildlife and habitat; and managing human use of the Area through 'entry by appointment only.' The Ann & Sandy Cross Conservation Area is the proud recipient of the 2002 Emerald Award for education! These awards recognize Albertans for outstanding achievements in projects which protect, preserve, enhance and sustain the environment.

GO-MED was started informally during the latter half of 2009 by several nurses, surgeons, and anesthetists who have been on previous overseas medical missions with other excellent organizations, such as Operation Rainbow and Health for Humanity. They decided that they wanted to expand their range, however, in several ways. They wanted to: 1. include a variety of surgeries according to the expertise of the surgeons who volunteer for a given mission; 2. include, as patients, adults as well as children; 3. include health education focused on the prevention of illness; 4. include a variety of global destinations, with perceived need being one of the critical criteria for selection.
