We achieve this by empathy, social and economic empowerment through self-help projects, Advocacy, psycho-social support, community mobilization and sensitization, outreaches, health, networking and educational support.

THE AMERICAN HOSTA SOCIETY'S PRIMARY OBJECTIVE IS TO NAME AND CLASSIFY HOSTA BY SPECIES AND HYBRIDS. A JOURNAL IS PRINTED TWICE A YEAR WITH A THIRD PUBLICATION ON THE WEBSITE FOR MEMBERS AND THE PUBLIC. THESE JOURNALS CONTAIN NAMES AND VARITIES OF NEW AND EXISTING PLANTS AND THE CULTURAL INFORMATION.
