The mission of the Marine Discovery Center is to protect our coastal ecosystem through education, conservation, and exploration. Our vision is to have a healthy coastal ecosystem for all, forever.

We strive to build & strengthen the capacity of the communities and empower the people particularly poor, marginalized and excluded to address their development needs through integration and coordination at local, provincial and national level. Objectives: 1. Conflict Resolution and Promotion of Peace & tolerance in the society 2. Empower deprived segments of society Women, Minorities, Children, Laborer and peasants to secure their basic rights. 3. To advocate for provision/Improvement of Education, Health, clean drinking water and sanitation facilities. 4. To work for promotion of human rights specifically of women, minorities, labor and peasants rights 5. To promote the democratic values and political education and struggle for Empowered Local Governments 6. To work for Climate Resilient society Approach: A participatory approach is followed towards socio- economic and political development of communities. Local knowledge and wisdom is on priority basis and sense of ownership is promoted among the target communities. STRATEGIES: SDA has implemented integrated strategy for the development and empowerment of deprived communities. Following strategies have been adopted for the intervening: Committees of SDA on Thematic Areas to analyze the issues, plan and implement program. Paint and Quarter Horse Foundation Bulgaria was established in 2017. The team was united by the love for horses. What we do is that we aim to promote the breeds Paint Horse and Quarter Horse. We develop and promote the natural relationship with the horse and its training/natural horsemanship/. With the help of well-trained horses the team spares no effort to improve the lives of children with disabilities in Bulgaria with therapeutic riding.

The Foundation provides a space of familiarity and mentoring to children, adolescents and young people who inhabit the south west of Bogota, promoting their social development through the teaching of techniques, knowledge and skills for life, so that they can empower and transform their environments which have been characterized by conflict. The work is developed through reading clubs, pedagogical and cooperative entrepreneurships, and by promoting participation and leading roles in all activities.

Exposure to nature decreases anxiety, depression, and negative rumination; while at the same time increasing well being, and creative thinking. People with disabilities usually don't have the same access to nature and environmental education as the general public. The Lewisboro Land Trust Access Nature Program, reaches out to people with disabilities to enable them to experience the benefits of nature. We design each program to fit the needs of the individual group, sometimes using educational naturalists or nature programs. The goal of Access Nature Programs is to provide a comfortable. safe, enjoyable experience of nature while educating on the benefits gained. The ultimate goal is self reliance, having gained the knowledge and confidence to enjoy nature on their own.

Through advocacy and education, the Friends of the Boundary Waters Wilderness works to protect, preserve, and restore the wilderness character of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness and Quetico-Superior ecosystem.

Rainforest Action Network campaigns for the forests, their inhabitants, and the natural systems that sustain life by transforming the global marketplace through grassroots organizing, education, and non-violent direct action.
