The Branford Land Trust works to permanently protect and steward open space in Branford by acquiring and managing conservation properties, maintaining trails, and holding easements. It also runs educational programs and community outreach to increase public appreciation and understanding of the town’s natural resources.

Friends of Saguaro National Park is the nonprofit fundraising partner of the National Park Service for Saguaro National Park. It raises funds and organizes volunteers to protect habitat and wildlife, improve trails and visitor experiences, and deliver education and stewardship programs that support conservation of the Sonoran Desert.

Founded in 1966, Aspetuck Land Trust is a non-profit membership organization. Our mission is the preservation and conservation of open space, including farm and forest land, and the natural resources located thereon, primarily in the towns of Easton, Weston, Fairfield and Westport, for the benefit and education of the public.

Since 1982, the North Carolina Coastal Federation has worked to protect and restore the coastal water quality and habitats of the N.C. coast through education, advocacy, and habitat preservation and restoration. We engage coastal residents and visitors in the protection of our coast for current and future generations.

The Burden Lake Conservation Association works to protect, restore, and improve water quality and the ecosystem of Burden Lake (primarily Third Burden Lake) and nearby water bodies. It builds a community of lake stewards and provides education to lake users and the public about safety and lake protection.

The American Chestnut Land Trust preserves and cares for natural and cultural landscapes in the Parkers Creek and Governors Run watersheds and promotes land conservation across Southern Maryland. It provides environmentally sustainable public access to preserved properties for education, scientific study, recreation, and cultural programs.
